Fond is a platform that helps remote employees feel more connected and appreciated, bridging the distance between coworkers in remote teams. Users can easily reward and recognize their co-workers and managers for their help and a job well done. The ability to choose how to redeem points is a standout feature of Fond, offering a variety of options such as paying bills, shopping, or supporting others in need. This adds an extra benefit to their work and motivates co-workers to do good work and be recognized. Fond also provides a great medium for announcing and celebrating great work done by remote employees, fostering a positive environment at companies through its website's usage. The platform is user-friendly and pleasant to navigate, making it enjoyable for users who eagerly look forward to receiving rewards and using Fond to make selections.

Fond is not just limited to remote teams; it helps organizations implement peer-to-peer recognition and manage incentives across the board. While some users feel that it doesn't adequately reward hard work or exceptional performance, Fond does offer attractive discounts and options for savings, particularly in Hawaii. This makes it a useful tool for users looking to save money while enjoying the benefits of employee engagement and recognition. With its quick and instant recognition system, Fond solves the problem of co-workers not being able to easily show appreciation for one another amidst their daily hustle and bustle. By providing tangible, redeemable rewards, Fond creates a positive environment at companies where employees can give shout-outs and kudos to good co-workers, boosting morale and fostering teamwork.

Users appreciate the flexibility that Fond offers regarding how they want to be rewarded as well as the platform it provides for recognizing others. The point-to-dollar value system prevents users from feeling nickel-and-dimed, ensuring fair recognition for their efforts. Additionally, Fond's software acts as a great employee gift portal, enabling users to recognize the hard work of associates and employees. It also serves as an effective tool for peer recognition, allowing every employee to recognize their peers and stimulating a culture of encouragement. Fond's positive recognition and rewards boost morale and lift employees up, creating a sense of accomplishment, teamwork, and appreciation. Users also enjoy the benefits of happier employees and higher engagement through Fond, as they can use their points for popular choices like gift cards. Overall, Fond is a valuable resource for organizations and individuals looking to foster employee recognition and engagement in a user-friendly and flexible manner.

Helpful Mobile App: Users find the Fond mobile app to be a valuable tool for redeeming rewards on their mobile devices. They appreciate the convenience of being able to access movie tickets and merchant gift cards immediately after making a purchase.

Motivating Rewards System: Many users are motivated by the Fond rewards system, which allows them to work towards goals and earn Fond points. They enjoy recognizing and rewarding others, and they appreciate the various options available for withdrawing their earned rewards.

Easy Recognition Platform: Users value Fond as an easy-to-use platform for recognizing and appreciating employees. They find it beneficial to have a dedicated space for positive reinforcement and giving credit where it is due, both within their own team and across different teams in their organization.

Lack of Transparency and Communication: Some users have expressed frustration with the lack of transparency and communication from Fond. They feel that important information about the program, such as how rewards are earned or redeemed, is not clearly communicated to them. This has led to confusion and a sense of mistrust among some users.

Difficulty in Accessing and Using Rewards: Several reviewers have mentioned difficulties in accessing and using their rewards through Fond. They have reported issues with redeeming rewards or finding relevant options that they are interested in. This has caused frustration for these users as they are unable to fully benefit from the program.

Limited Options and Flexibility: A common complaint among users is the desire for more options and flexibility within the Fond program. Some reviewers feel that there is a lack of variety when it comes to reward choices, such as discounts or gift card options. Others would like more flexibility in terms of how they can use their rewards, such as being able to combine points or customize their own rewards.

Users have made several recommendations based on their experiences with Fond. First, they suggest evaluating and comparing different reward and recognition vendors before selecting Fond. This will help companies ensure they are choosing the right platform for their needs.

Second, users recommend that Fond improves its communications and branding to avoid being flagged as spam. Enhancing communication strategies and branding efforts will prevent messages from being mistaken as unsolicited or unwanted.

Third, users recommend implementing a consistent strategy for employee recognition and engagement. Instead of using multiple platforms, users suggest utilizing Fond as the primary tool for recognizing and engaging employees throughout the year.

In addition to these recommendations, users appreciate Fond's user-friendly interface and find it to be a valuable platform for recognizing and rewarding employees. They also suggest adjusting email settings to control the frequency of notifications and making Fond more customizable to individual user experiences. Users would also like to see an expanded range of redemption options on Fond, including increasing the value of points and adding more gift card options from restaurants.

Fond is being used as an employee benefit and reward program. It is a great way to incentivize sales contests as well as perks for employees including discounts in hotels, products, etc. it’s a much easier way to track awards versus having employees expense or doing out of pocket. Also, a great benefit to creating a positive feeling toward the employer.
  • Employee perks
  • Rewards
  • Gift cards
  • More travel perks
  • Fond debit card
  • More products
Fond is a great way to incentivize your sales team during contests and rewards for top performers. Also, a great way to incentivize your partners such as referral sources and clients. I can’t think of anything where it’s not really appropriate as an offering. Great offering for employee vacation perks.
  • Gift card options

Fond is being used throughout our whole company to provide feedback for a job well done and to provide gifts during holidays, birthdays, and work anniversaries. Each person is able to say thank you to anyone else within the company by providing points that can be redeemed for goods and services. Fond offers a lot of great products and exclusive deals.
  • Shows appreciation
  • Great deals on products
  • Birthday and holiday surprise gifts
  • Prices are higher than online for some items
  • Not enough gift card options
The best scenario that Fond is used in our company is to show appreciation for someone that has helped you on a particular task or project. You are able to show direct appreciation to that person. We have not found Fond to be less appropriate in any big cases that I have personally come across.
  • Positive work morale
  • Positive incentive to go above expectations
We have not tested other products that offer such a way to award our employees for doing a fantastic job. Fond has been helping with all the necessary situations and the costs have been quite low. We have not looked into other products. I would recommend going with Fond because we have not found any quality issues with their service.

Fond is being used by our entire organization and has made employees more engaged with all facets of the workplace. The Fond points system is regularly used to encourage involvement in office functions (such as raffles for United Way Fundraisers), motivates employees to manage and contribute through volunteer clubs (such as the ATC Green Team), and recognizes employees who excel in their job functions.
  • Provides a long list of alternatives that make it easy to use your Fond points for the product/services you truly care about.
  • Very easy to redeem; select what you want to receive, and click redeem with the points/dollars requested. Typically, gift cards are provided within seconds.
  • Regularly rotate offerings so that you have many options throughout the year.
  • The filtering capability on Fond can be improved.
  • Discounts versus gift cards/vouchers are hard to delineate sometimes.
  • There are a number of offers that remain that I'm not interested in. Hard to find the offers I want to use.
Fond is a perfect rewards system to encourage employee involvement and provide vouchers/coupons/discounts that employees truly care about. This system replaced an old rewards system that was difficult to use and had limited offerings; Fond was a major upgrade. The interface is intuitive and makes it easy and more attractive for employees to utilize. I have seen a spike in voluntary activities from my coworkers, likely from this new system.
  • More employee engagement
  • Company culture improvement
  • Recognition of accomplishments
We used an internally developed rewards system.

While I was at Paylocity, they used it as a rewards system throughout the entire organization. You had opportunities to earn Fond money and exchange it for company merchandise, gift cards, and other goods on the Fond website. It provided a great online way to recognize others for their hard work and it could readily be exchanged as soon as the managers gave you your points.
  • Fond had so many options to choose from when selecting what you wanted to receive, from gift cards to tech to even local getaways.
  • The site itself was very user friendly and easy to navigate. I didn't have any trouble finding or selecting exactly what I wanted.
  • From management's perspective, I heard that it was also very easy to award points to team members.
  • When first trying to select a gift card, I'd get an occasional error message, but other than that, it was pretty easy to use.
  • Getting more widespread with the types of awards that users can redeem is always a plus!
  • This may have changed since I last used Fond, but last time I tried using the system, the total points you had were tucked away in a somewhat obscure location.
Ideally, we used this when trying to provide a more substantial way of rewarding employees for their hard work and dedication to a task. Even doing something brand new was something worthy of a few "Fond bucks," as we called it. As an internal rewarding system, it provided a quick and easy way for management to reward employees without having to spend hours trying to tally points and making sure that everything was lined up correctly.
  • It provided a good amount of competition within the organization to earn more Fond bucks as an extra reward on top of our sales commission.
  • Like I mentioned before, management wasn't having to spend an overwhelming amount of time trying to figure out rewards when we could use Fond instead.
  • The rewards we could redeem were adequate and encompassed a wide range of hobbies and wants.
  • Kudos
I believe Kudos was the reward system my previous employer before Paylocity used, and we honestly didn't utilize it to its full potential. Management said it was a pain to try and figure out, so I never really got to participate in using Kudos all that much. Comparatively, I'd say Fond is better in every way since it's easy to use and has a wide variety of rewards.
