I was working with a client and they wanted a central management solution for their business phones to manage contacts. I started looking into this product to share a central database of company contacts. FullContact provided a solution that could be used on every phone and contacts could easily be updated when there was a change.
  • Sharing contacts.
  • Easy to edit.
  • Nice interface.
  • Making contacts read only.
  • Price.
  • Free for education.
It gave our clients what they wanted and that was shared contacts. The problem was they had to trust other employees did not change the contacts because everyone had admin rights to them. There are no real good web-based products to share contacts with read-only rights. This was the closest.
  • Positive that the time is not spent updating individual phones.
  • Negative in that if someone alters a contact, it will need fixed.
  • Positive that users don't waste time calling wrong numbers.
Radicale is a Linux-based contact server that works well with many platforms. It is not the most user-friendly, but if you know your way around creating virtual servers and putting them in the cloud this could be a great free solution for you. The best part is you can have read-only contacts!

We use Full Contact Enrich API to provide demographics about the fans of sports teams to our clients. We also use it to segment audiences before enriching with other data providers.
  • They have an API, which is a step above other identity resolution providers.
  • They can merge many disparate sources of data into a single identity.
  • Good client services team
  • We notice that sometimes the API doesn't respond correctly the first time we send it an email; we have to send it again.
Full Contact Enrich API is well-suited to track how the demographics of a particular segment are changing over time.
  • Has allowed us to secure and keep more clients
FullContact is more full-featured than IdentityLink and provides better demographic information.
Their support is very responsive and friendly.

Updating contacts, developing segmented email lists for email campaigns, expanding contact lists to include more information about the contact and their organizations. This is my new favorite app for organizing contacts and segmenting email lists. It is also the only app I have used that will transcribe business cards with 100% accuracy (they use humans to enter info from pictures of cards rather than software, like most other apps). The "merge contact" feature is great and allows you to review the contacts being merged before doing so automatically. It also integrates with Google accounts, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Yahoo. Another great feature is the ability to export data in a file, which you can then upload to your regular CRM software or to Constant Contact.
  • Update contact info daily
  • Manage contact database and segment lists
  • Allows you to export lists or the entire database
  • Needs to allow for more than 50 business card transcriptions per month
  • Sometimes tries to merge contacts that are not the same person
  • Does not sync individual account with business account
It imports data found on the internet (such as social media profile URLs, web addresses, etc.) to your contact database. The app actually uses humans to import data from your business cards using a snapshot (and does so accurately). It allows you to download a backup of your contact database that can be uploaded to your email client. FullContact integrates with Google a.ccounts, Twitter, LinkedIn, Yahoo, and more. It also provides a good format for importing contact databases using Excel. However, customer service is a bit slow
  • Organize contact lists
  • Update contact info
  • Add to contact profiles
The best feature is the daily contact updates from information found on the web. Also, it is the only app I've used that accurately transcribes info from business cards.

  • It should automatically sync business accounts when individual accounts are updates.
  • More tips and resources on how to develop a good contact list would be nice.
  • Customer service is a bit slow.
This is a quick and easy way to upload information from business cards to your current contact database. It can be used by those who are organizing email marketing campaigns. It is also good for personal use -- since it organizes all available information about any given contact it is a great resource for looking up people before meetings and doing other types of background research.
  • Faster lead conversion by building an accurate contact list.
  • Great for pulling together background information on individuals before reaching out.
  • Saves time by pulling together information available on the internet every day.
Definitely much better than all competitors in keeping information up to date and integrating all contacts found on your other accounts. Much better format for storing contacts and the interface is well-organized and easy to use. Also, great for use by teams across the organization.

Marketing, research, and management.
This can be used by pretty much anyone with access to the user's Google account or social media accounts. Importing data only requires basic skills using Microsoft Excel.
  • Email marketing
  • Contact organization
  • List segmentation
  • Uploading information from business cards
  • Updating contacts based on information found on the internet daily (through an automatic search)
  • Backing up updated copies of contact database and segmented list.
  • Further segmenting email marketing lists.
  • Adding additional information about current contacts.
  • Updating information on contact cards when emails have bounced.

I wish it would allow for more business card uploads per month. Even the paid subscription has a limit of 50 cards per month. I contacted customer support to inquire about increasing this limit and was told that I would need to upgrade to a yearly contract in order to do so. If FullContact continues to be useful, I will likely upgrade. However, given that the business card contacts is one of this software's best features, I was disappointed that this allowance could not be increased. Overall, however, I would highly recommend FullContact.

I like this as it acts as an automatically updated Rolodex for all my contacts. I'm able to store thousands of contacts and keep them updated. Allows you to bulk import contacts for easy management. This also allows me to access them across the cloud and not have to worry about localization or where they're kept.
  • Contact Social Profiles Updated Automatically
  • Cloud Storage Ability
  • Cost Effective Solutions
  • The extension can be a little buggy at times.
  • The limits on the free plan could be better
FullContact really excels at contact management and storage. I can manage all my contacts and their information very easily with this product. It also scans for changes in their information and keeps it freshly updated. If you have a lot of contacts or need a product to keep them all in one place in the cloud then this is your deal.
  • Positive time saving after initial upload
  • Negative time investment to monitor and correct bulk uploading issues
  • Positive accurate social profile information
  • evercontact
FullContact has pretty much the best bang for your buck as far as the different features offered. You can do a lot of different things with it and it's all online or in an app on your phones. Easy access to the most accurate information available at your fingertips is pretty awesome.
