Givesmart is Getting Smarter!
- In the Event section, generating receipts/statements and emailing to donors can only be done individually - so really unpractical when you wrap up the event and you can't send out an email with each attendees statement or send all silent auction donors an email with a statement - those have to be done individually and so it is very tedious. No workaround for silent auction donors that I know of and the work-around for attendees is they have to log back into their account - easy for some, impossible for others.
- Initially the events information would not transfer to donor database. Now it transfers; however, it does not separate donations from purchases/ticket purchases so for the year end tax letter - the donor has to remember what is/isn't tax deductible. So it would be nice to delineate in the system what is a purchase (and fair market value) with what is a donation (like the event statement does.)

Make Fund Raising Easier
- It is silly that you aren't able to check in spouses together. Other platforms allow this

Would Not Recommend
- It is difficult and cumbersome to understand the "back end" (setting up the website). For us, it was impossible to do without a lot of technical support.

GiveSmart make it easy to give smartly!
- Only because of the merger, I have found it challenging this year to figure out how the keywords work together for the annual campaign and the fundraising gala event
- We had billing issues through all of last year. We had paid in full, but kept getting billed, they threatened to cut off our access and accounts, etc. Our bookkeeper, Director of Finance and Operations, and eventually our Head of School had to get involved and it tooks months to solve.

- All thank you letters and statements come in one PDF for everyone versus for each person when you run the single report.
