Make Fund Raising Easier
- GiveSmart is user friendly for our school and our community.
- GiveSmart allows us to reach more people.

We have been using this software since 2016, and it has made our events run more efficiently.
We are able to keep our auctions/raffles/donations organized, and the reporting functions are easy to use and implement.

They are always responsive and help us figure out any issues. Most recently we had an issue with a customer being charged incorrectly and they helped us provide a refund and correct documentation.

- With our previous fundraising software, it didn't have the ability to handle galas. It was great to be able to use GiveSmart to build the silent and live auctions, sell tickets, assign bidder numbers, sell items, etc.
- Managing recurring donations is easy! It's nice to get the monthly reminder that someone has donated so we make sure to say thank you a few times a year.
- We are considering adding a Fun Run as a fundraising opportunity, and it's great to have the peer-to-peer option for that.

- My own excitement! I wanted to get going right away because I was excited about the product. In retrospect, it would have gone more smoothly if I'd watched the tutorials and such before starting. But that was really the only issue with implementation.

- Only because of the merger, I have found it challenging this year to figure out how the keywords work together for the annual campaign and the fundraising gala event
- We had billing issues through all of last year. We had paid in full, but kept getting billed, they threatened to cut off our access and accounts, etc. Our bookkeeper, Director of Finance and Operations, and eventually our Head of School had to get involved and it tooks months to solve.

GiveSmart is Great!
- Mobile bidding.
- Online donations.
- Online ticketing.
- You can't use items that have cents involved, only whole dollars. It needs to be able to handle cents but currently can't.
- In kind data doesn't always copy over from one campaign to the other. You have to re-enter information when you have the same donor for multiple campaigns.
- Adding or subtracting tickets to a company isn't possible once the initial purchase has been completed. To fix this is a pain and requires refunding the entire order and starting over. That is annoying.
- GiveSmart increased our Silent Auction revenues by 40% in our first year.
- GiveSmart has allowed us to create unique fundraising events that didn't require actual attendance. This allowed us to create new events that raised over $100,000.
- GiveSmart has a great function that allows for a great online visual for people to see silent auction items allowing us to market those easier via social media.
