GoAnywhere can be deployed on-premises or in the cloud. As a VMware-validated product, it also runs in several virtualized environments including VMware, Amazon AWS, and Microsoft Azure. GoAnywhere exchanges batch and ad-hoc file transfers, executes tasks before and/or after transfers, and gives users and partners a secure way to exchange data. The vendor provides MFTaaS deployment to give users an easy way to transfer files while Fortra takes care of the setup, infrastructure management, and backups, all for an expected flat fee.

- GA has made life easier for our employees. Many processes that used to take a lot of time are now automated or semi-automated using GA.
- GA has helped our IT team be far more productive. It would take weeks to put together code that we can do in GA in a day or less.

- It save lots of manual effort from end user and application to manipulate files. We have automated processes for the user. It saves almost 4 to 5 persons taking over 3 to 4 hours daily manually. Same task is done using GoAnywhere and takes about 1/2 hour.

- With the Secure Mail feature we automated massive secure mail distributions that were previously done by post.
- By building corporate and EDI frameworks with the Project designer, we reduce the complexity of adding new project to adding a new configuration file to the framework.
- Simplify security administration by having a single point of entry for process that need file transfers with external partners.

GoAnywhere MFT, not exactly what I expected.
- Once it is up and running it requires little maintenance.
- Allows you to provide access to the data owner to view or run the projects.
- In time you will find other things to automate with the vast options available in the project library.
