Yes, Gong helped me build insights into trends with my customers through reviewing transcripts and recordings. I was able to reference topics we'd discussed and become more proactive in my role as a customer success manager because Gong became a tool that captured repeat topics - i.e. pain points, common use cases, areas that needed clarity, to-do list and so on.

We build trackers in Gong to highlight specific key words being said in meetings like competitor names. we can easily see on each type of prospect who are the main competitors we're dealing with. thats one example of trends we use in Gong

Because it shares information and my clients are told we have and Ai recording and they ask more about the tool as they find it useful too, the other businesses are also starting to use these tools as they find it effective. These calls are rated too. So that makes it more competitive

In our market we have set up competitor mentions, different trackers around pricing and economics, and evaluate the supply chain. We haven't yet been able to see defined trends in our customers from the infromation we are tracking in Gong. Our customers are having these conversations with us though, they are just not always captured under insights.

The AI trackers are very insightful in terms of early warnings for things that may go wrong in deals or renewals.

As well, just listening to call reviews or auditing for keywords can help take pulse checks on the market or customer base at large.

Yes! We have folders within our org of calls from different industries and around different topics important in the market right now. This helps us track trends that come up as well as learn from colleagues who had successful hard conversations.

I don't use Gong for customers - although I am an AM I really only focus my time on new business and try to flat renew all my customers since I have found the work required to upgrade them is not worth the squeeze. That being said I think our CSM team uses it to take notes on previous calls, see who the stakeholders where when a new CSM takes over, and to coach reps

I like that Gong captures my whole conversation with a customer, and then I can go back, grab any notes I might have missed, take snippets of conversations, and send them across my org from different departments. I can capture conversations where customers are struggling, and I don't have to stop to take notes during the conversation to pass on to a CSM - It's all recorded, and the CSM can listen at their convenience. So many helpful ways that Gong makes life easier across departments and helps drive insights into the market.

Gong has helped us understand what topics are coming up the most, which competitors are being talked about, and what our customers are saying. It does thematic analysis to let us know the current trends on the call, who is saying what, and what we should and should not talk about.
