Google Drive helps in providing security to the information and the integration with other Google platforms is easy. It helps in sharing files only with verified individuals and can allow only certain people who can view the information.
  • Uploading files
  • Integration with other Google apps
  • Sharing files
  • Large files uploading
  • Editing the files
  • Logging
Google Drive is well suited where only information should be maintained within a group or if you want to maintain secrecy between organizations.

we use it to back up the data and cloud shared internally and externally. I used google drive for this purpose in a free plan when the business was small. it's covered all our needs in centralized data and backed it up. In addition, google drive is one of the most suppliers' trusted.
  • Backup data from desktop
  • Share data via links
  • Easy to access on all devices
  • Brows the backup like whatapp
  • Except for file types on the backup
  • Stop holding 5 $ when subscribing.
It's the best free 15 GB cloud storage, you can use it and when you need extra storage you can buy it. in small business, you can use it and when upgrading the company you can upgrade your system to the max. Google has a vast library of apps and software.

Working in a remote setup, we have a lot of files to keep and maintain. Unlike if you're working in a physical office, you would have a secure server. With us, Google Drive allows us to easily access any information that is needed by the business. This also secures the file by letting you to either share or limit to view-access only. My scope is literally everything that can be done with Google Drive, edit, read, keep or maintain and share to intended users.
  • Ease of use
  • Appealing interface
  • Possibilities are endless for remote workers
  • Can be easily accessed
  • Since it's working like a regular folder in a desktop, hitting back button that allows to go back to the previous folder would be best
  • Best to have some pop-ups to provide suggestions like, if I am to have multiple folders, I can put numbers in front for it to be sorted based on how I often use it
  • I guess more storage since this is needed specially if you are dealing with data or documents
Google Drive is well suited for everyone who would like to send or share information who thinks handing an actual usb or printed document is a hassle. This tool can also house big files which can't be done if I am to send it via email, e.g. photos, videos or mp3 files.

Excellent tool (product) we use for Chat, Mail, Drive, etc. several years of implementation to get data accurate with a single log in and share any document with our co workers and customers. Helped us to have a great tool to share data, info and surveys between our subsidiaries in DR and US. Easy and secure.. We use the product to Share Documents, videos, training materials and conduct surveys and data collection within the company.
  • Sharing documents, video, files, etc.
  • Create froms to performs some surveys.
  • Access to a whole world class of product and services.
  • Data collection.
  • Graphical Interface, they should change a little bit.
  • Copying forms between differents drives to an easiest deployment.
Incredible secure and reliable, we can share large documents, videos or any other kind that we are not allowed to do via email. Easy access no matter where youare from, you can be in Europe, America or Asia, and with a simple click you enter and solve everything. I can not really find something that does not help, in everyday life it solves wery well.

I have been using Google Drive for sometime along with several other users from my organization. It is great for downloading and uploading data very quickly. It is easy to use and integrates well with other applications. It's an easy way to collaborate and use information.
  • The application is very secure.
  • It's easy to use and integrates well with other applications.
  • Storage can be adjusted based on business size.
  • Quality of usage depends on the internet speed.
  • A gmail account is needed.
  • Free version has limited space.
Google drive is great when a user has to upload and download several files with different users. It is great for using along with other google based products. Google drive may not be great if the internet speed is too slow.

We use Google Drive to save the business documents. It helps us to share the documents securely with authorized users only. Also, we can preview a few files such as pdf and images within Google Drive only. It also helps keep the versions of different files whenever we upload the same file.
  • Organization of files and folders
  • Version management
  • File sharing
  • Support different file formats for preview.
  • File uploading on mobile devices needs to be improved.
  • Can add "Shared By Me" option same as "Shared with me" option.
It's very user-friendly, users can quickly learn to share, and save their documents. Also one can manage their documents as they manage them on their hard drives. Add or remove the shared users easily, also uploading and deletion of files are easy. It has a trash facility where it can store the deleted items like recycle bin on the computer.

Now a day, Cloud storage are become more popular and provide the superior functionality. Google drive is one of the product that gives storage capability includes many more features. Using google drive storage we are independent of using laptop, mobile or any end user device. User can easily upload and download the docs stores in drive. so accessibility of docs from google is absolute hassle-free operations.
  • Docs stores
  • Docs share to others
  • webapp for desktop and mobile users
  • Search from Creator, Name or other parameter
  • untitles docs saving should be stopped,
  • layout of drive should be improve and user friendly
  • sharing the docs on drive with time limit or unlimited time options
Keeping the docs on cloud storage is best and practical scenarios of now a day. if in case of low bandwidth of internet then drive should allow with resize the data and upload or download it.
offline scenarios is excellent for people are travelling and they may not find internet to use the drive.

I use Google Drive to store and share all work-related files. I also use it to send articles to clients and partners for review. Every department uses Google Drive though. I know no matter who I'm sending something to in the company, they'll be able to access and use a Google Drive link. Great product!
  • Ease of use
  • Storage
  • Sharing files
  • The biggest problem that comes up is when sharing a file and you accidentally don't give the person access. It's easy to forget. I shared something yesterday and then closed my computer, not realizing I never gave anyone permission to view it. Maybe the UX could bring it to your attention rather than you have to search it out.
  • Honestly, the rest is great. No notes.
It's great for sharing content and soliciting feedback. A team of people can simultaneously look at my document and add notes.

Not great for heavily formatting documents. I use a technical writing software, Madcap Flare, to write my documents. I would love it if I could do the same writing in Google Drive. But alas, it's not built for that.

Google Drive is used as the primary document-sharing tool within our organization. Each time has a shared location that they share and collaborate on documents that are needed across the team. Corporate templates are shared in a specific location to be used by anyone. Individuals are also encouraged to share their working documents in Google Drive. In the event of a hardware failure, no data would be lost.
  • Collaboration
  • Sharing
  • Editing
  • Feedback
  • Could be easier to track when a document is shared, who it is shared with, and how to stop sharing.
  • Could be easier to find large documents/save space.
  • Automatic archiving and retention policies could be improved.
If you are not a Microsoft shop, then Google drive is probably the best solution to store, share, and track corporate documents. Most of your users will be familiar with using the tool personally, very easy to add a corporate layer and use the tool professionally. IT is a very flexible tool, can accommodate almost all use cases and workflows. Can be used collaboratively with partners, customers, and across your business.

We use Google Drive to collaborate with our field team to collect and analyze data in real-time. It helps us to collect our merchant documents directly into the drive from Google form so that we don't have to wait for the physical documents. We can verify all the documents instantly and guide our agent if everything is in order. We collect candidate CVs via Google Drive so it mitigates our problem of storing and sharing at the same time.
  • Collaboration with others is a breeze. We can share instantly both via links or Gmail [addresses] and thanks to Android everyone has a Google account now.
  • Team members can upload documents to a specific Drive location
  • You can create different levels of permission for different collaborators
  • Right now it only creates one link for sharing. Separate links for view, download, and edit will be more convenient
  • It doesn't offer the option to transfer the images to Google Photos which would be a great help for photo management
  • The mobile version became useless as you need Sheets for viewing Excel, Docs for Word files. Google should at least provide a viewer in Drive. All cloud storage [has] one now.
If you are using a laptop or desktop, Drive is a very easy-to-use versatile tool. From uploading to sharing and viewing, the whole process is seamless and in one place. The mobile user experience is not as smooth. My field team uses the WPS office to get out Google's requirement of downloading four different apps for four different tasks. Google should bring their desktop experience to mobile as well. Sad thing is, it was the same before.

I began using Google active informally as a college student and then continues to use it for nearly every job I’ve held since graduating. As an editor, I rely heavily on a word-based system that updates, syncs, and saves automatically so that I don’t have to. The best part is that when I make an edit on any Doc, Slide, or Sheet that I’m working on, this is synced automatically for all other parties so we’re all working on one continuously evolving document.
  • Syncs quickly so that remote teams can view the same document (and any new changes) automatically
  • Provides a variety of documents to choose from for your specific needs
  • Is easy to use and effective
  • I’d like to see more of a customer support base. If you need help, you’re diverted to a message board full of other confused people and it can be hard to find an answer—especially if your question is very specific.
Google Drive is great for teams on the move, who might now be able to sit down with one another in the same room and look over a document together. It saves versions so that even if you make a mistake, there is always a past version saved for you. Just keep in mind that the larger your team, the more people will be editing the same document, which can get messy if you’re not careful.

From my academic institution, as a lecturer of Information and Communication Technology, I'm instructed to find a comfortable technology that will be helpful for all the academic and administrative staff to the covid time. Then I searched for many and finally, I suspected to use google drive for everyone's use. Being a teacher, I'm supposed to conduct classes every day according to my routine. For daily tasks, I face different colors of problems like preparing documents, preparing slides, and to store and share these class notes with our learners. As its substance, Google Drive is a staggering conveyed stockpiling plan. However, with time, and with the right skill, it can transform into a major convenience contraption for anyone, from understudies to business specialists. So, I need such an application that integrates all other applications altogether. And google drive helps me to do those tasks frequently. Since I am experiencing these facilities, I suggest my authority arrange a training session where I teach all my colleagues how to use google drive along with other applications of google using a single google account which is totally free of cost. Using google drive is like using a virtual Pendrive which was costly in my third-world country. My Institution is now in training on G suite for getting the most out of google drive, where our teaching and administrative staff can find detailed guides for all things regarding the use of Google Drive. Nowadays not only the departments but also the whole institution are using google drive as cloud-based storage and my institution is planning to increase its free capacity from 1 GB
  • Firstly, Cloud-based Storage facility.
  • Integration with Single google account
  • Integration with other cloud-based storage system like one note
  • Facility of using even in off-line mode.
  • Using other googles application like google docs, sheet, presentation
  • The quite simple working graphical working environment which is not having plenty of menus.
  • Its own file format.
  • Having a little bit more control and clarity over what is shared and how it is shared would be a useful improvement.
  • Could be more robust and flexible as far as assigning restrictions.
  • Google Sheets could be enhanced because Excel really is not there yet as a product with equal capabilities as there are still quite a few limitations to the functionality.
I will definitely rate 10 out of 10 if I am asked by a colleague in terms of using my Google Drive because Google Drive offers users 15 GB of free storage through Google One and it is enough for me as a teacher for my daily job also it is not limited to 15 GB only moreover, Google One also offers 100 GB, 200 GB, 2 TB, offered through optional paid plans if anyone needs to increase one's storage capacity. Files uploaded can be up to 750 GB in size.

We e use google drive across our entire organization. Staff use it for personal storage and to share documents and files out to targeted audiences like individual students, groups of students or other staff members. We have it tied into our Active directory structure to give us flexibility and allow the use of groups we have already created.
  • organization
  • ease of use
  • availability
  • multiplatform
  • They removed the desktop app which I found useful
  • Support for more file types
  • download and upload of multiple files can be cumbersome
Google drive is a great place to store many different file types and share those with different groups. The preview pane is very handy for getting a quick view of what the file is you are looking at. There are many options for sharing the files that also include many different security options to help you keep your file safe.

Google Drive allows us to share files and folders within the organization while restricting access to anyone outside the domain. We also use it on our mobile devices with the help of the Google Drive application, where we save video and important data. Mostly all of my team uses Google Drive for both personal and professional use.
  • Easily sync all your files.
  • The free version includes 15GB of storage.
  • Ability to share files with your team.
  • Integration with other Google apps.
  • Google should give some extra GB for free users.
  • Needs high speed internet to upload files.
  • Google Drive is a little expensive for most users.
This application can be used by anyone who wants to store their files and folders with the cloud.

  • Used by production department as a cloud drive to keep information about projects up to date and accessible while workers are deployed on site
  • Accessible from a tablet so as workers in charge can have access to all the information they need on site visits without having to print it and without using any complicated intermediate software
  • App
  • Web
  • Easy to use
  • Reliable
  • You need a Gmail account
  • Free accounts are limited to 15 GB
  • Doesn’t allow to edit documents in app
  • No support for Apple pencil on iPad
It is well suited for small teams sharing live and constantly updated information, especially when some members of the team need to access these files while not in the office or when several people have to work simultaneously on the same file. Not intended to be used as a high-scale files drive.

We are using Google Drive for multiple purposes:
  • For management purposes, we are using it to share and collect documents from different departments on a centralized drive which is associated with directors' mail ID.
  • For students, we are using it to collect various feedbacks and documents when required. We are also sharing teaching material, notes, and model test papers using drives. For quizzes, we are using Google Forms which is again a part of Google Drive.
  • So, in short, in this pandemic time, we are using it as an office tool, as well as a learning management system.
  • First and foremost, you can use it to keep your documents online and download them when required.
  • Second, you can share the documents and can work in the collaboration with other people in a shared file, so distance is no longer a thing to consider.
  • You can collect reviews or feedback for any product or training in a very little time.
  • You can conduct quizzes online.
  • Reports are presented using spreadsheets as well as in the form of pie and bar charts.
  • UI is a bit complicated to understand for beginners who are not from a technical background.
  • Internet isa must, requires a little higher bandwidth.
  • One more problem is in public folders anyone can edit and delete the files created by other users; I think that should be controlled. A person can edit only the files created by him/ her.
Google Drive is best suited for general office work and it can be used as a learning management system for academia. It is loaded with all the tools required for both the field. Well, for some fields, some features are useless may be but I don't think it is less appropriate for any scenarios.

Our department is 100% remote and we use Google Drive to share, edit and collaborate. Everyone is able to work on projects regardless of their local time zone. This also reduces the need for us to have meetings. We also don't need to worry about losing data if someone's computer goes down.
  • Great for sharing data
  • Great for collaborating with a team
  • None that I can think of
It is definitely well suited for remote teams but even a team working in the same building would get a lot of use out of Google Drive. The information kept in Google Drive is both safe and secure. Not having to worry about lost files is extremely important in our field.

My entire company uses Google Drive and associated products for daily tasks instead of offline word processing, spreadsheets, and other needs. It's very convenient in terms of portability as we no longer need bulky attachments and emails. Everyone can access whatever required by easy collaboration and secure sharing features offered by Google.
  • Ample free space (15 GB) and ability to expand.
  • High and reliable security features you can trust.
  • Availability of features to make day-to-day tasks easy and convenient.
  • Supports various add-ons.
  • Free service.
  • Depends on internet even to activate off-line functions.
  • Quality of functionalities heavily depend on internet.
  • With frequent use you might feel that the free capacity 15 GB is not adequate.
We are a work from home company and Google Drive was simply the best collaboration tool offered freely by a well-reputed and a reliable company like Google. It's very easy to share files and access them simultaneously with a team and Google's file-sharing options make the entire process secure and hassle-free.

Google Drive is being used at our organization by every individual for sharing of work files among us as well as with customers through a link. This helps to keep files accessible on the go by all in shared folders. The collaboration tools are very helpful to make more use of it.
  • User community is impressively huge
  • Easy to use for sharing files among group or outside via link
  • Accessible on mobile, desktop, and web
We all are already using it, but still I recommend that any new colleague and friend use it to easy share work files and make them accessible on the go anywhere. The collaboration tools will help even more than sharing and backup.

Google Drive is used by our organisation as a collaborative space. We collaborate in real-time in editing shared documents, such as Google docs or spreadsheets in Google Drive. Aside from that we also use it as shared storage for documents in other formats such as pdf, word or images.
  • Collaborative platform
  • Storage point for shared documents such as pdfs
  • Access to other Google apps such as Google docs from within Google Drive
  • Smooth link with gmail
  • Offline Use- Google Drive's user experience would be much better if it was possible to have offline access to some of the functionalities.
  • Range of editable items- It is not possible to edit some types of documents, such powerpoint in Google Drive. Adding such functionalities would make it serve our organisation better.
  • Size. It would be great if the allowable space allowed per user on Google Drive was unlimited as opposed to the current 15 GB.
A scenario in which you have multiple teams of people that remotely collaborating on a document such as a magazine. You, as the owner of account whose Google Drive you are using can create folders in the drive and set permissions for who has access to which folders. This access control can extend all the way to individual documents in such as Google docs. This allows for smooth and organised remote collaboration.

Google Drive provides you with cloud storage. For the first-time user, they provide 15GB of free space. It is useful for data backup and file sharing among teams/friends. We also use it for saving our Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Photos, and all. It is really easy to use. It also provides you with a directory structure where you can make folders according to your needs. This is also a really good software for collaborative work with team members.
  • Secure and easy to use
  • Fast sync
  • Collaborative work
  • Free space of 15GB
  • Strong community and customer support
  • Low uploading speed
  • Searching is little bit slow
  • Time-based sharing can also be incorporated
It is recommended for data backup and for saving various documents or images that are really important for your organization. Anyone can access them whenever they need to. If data is not very important, then you can create a backup in your own storage device. But Google Drive will also save the cost of saving the data.

I have been using Google Drive personally for backup storage and document edition options in addition to Microsoft Cloud Services.

Microsoft Office 360 comes with built-in Office packs including MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc., but sometimes they have diverse problems. I use Google Drive in order to finish up my work and meet the expectations of my leads. It works like a great swiss army knife for any organization problems. Since the official KSquare University software is MS Office pack, we usually work with that. But, if your company needs to use different tools in a single place, Google Drive and the rest of Google's services are the way to go.
  • Office tools handling in a single place.
  • Org privacy.
  • Easy to use built-in graphical user interface.
  • Constant updates.
  • Enhance Google Docs options.
  • Different views of your documents.
  • Total storage pie chart showing percentages of the number of documents in storage.
Well suited whenever you need simple, external tools to work in a browser-based environment or to quickly store back-up data without any losses. You can share your work with people outside your organization.
DO NOT choose this tool if your organization asks you NOT to use external tools aside from the provided by the company.

Last month, I had to use Google Drive for our design team when we needed to work at home due to the Covid-19 pandemic issue. I used it to sync our projects from the server in our company. I experienced Google Drive for years, therefore I prefer to use it for our team because it is free, fast, and extremely convenient, although our internet was too slow. Yet, we had some problems with Google Drive since it automatically created conflict files whenever there was more than one person using it at the same time without any warning.
  • Multi sync for many people at the same time.
  • Free to use with up to 15GB.
  • Fast and convenient.
  • Update in real time.
  • Should have warning whenever there is more than one person using a file at the same time.
I think we can use Google Drive for learning languages, storage files to work with our colleagues, sending files to our clients, creating surveys for marketing online and much more.

Google drive is being used in my organization as a cloud base product that allows my teammates and managers to share documents and files with each other. Because Google Drive is cloud based, it allows the employees from my organization to access documents and files from anywhere. This allows flexibility for those that work remotely and are not in the office.
  • Inexpensive
  • User friendly
  • Accessible
  • More storage
  • Password protected files
Google Drive is perfect for organizations that have a fear of losing important documents if their system were to crash. Because Google Drive is cloud base, the files and documents that are uploaded onto Google Drive are saved and protected. This gives organizations peace of mind when it comes to having fear of losing important documents.
