I use it to save forms and upload records.
  • Easy to use
  • Accessable
  • Free
  • Save a doc
It is great for saving things. It is not terrible but it does not save Word documents as Word. You have to upload them again or use a Google doc. You lose functionality when you convert. Overall it is easy to use and the best thing is that the program is absolutely free

  • It is economical
  • It is a great start up and everyone can access it
  • Saves time having to share documents
One drive is a little bit better because you can save it as a Word document. I currently use the paid version which allows access to all the Microsoft Office features. I have used the unpaid version and this was an issue due to HIPPA compliance. Working with medical records you need the BAA

I have not needed to use support. I find that I can search most concerns an solve the problem through chats, Reddit, or you tube. It is very easy to use and the problems have not consisted of any kind of bugs or anything more of some type of learning curve issue.
I did not feel it was necessary to purchase premium support because the program is so easy to use. I am able to find all my answers through a Google search chat or You Tube video. Event the google instructions are fairly clear. I have not run into any problems.

We as a freelancer use Google drive to share our work with the clients or our co-workers. Earlier we had a lot of issues sharing powerpoint presentations and pricing details but sooner we came to know about Google Drive that allows us to share all important data via cloud which is the biggest advantage that we got.
  • I found Google drive as the best medium to share files with clients and keep important backups.
  • It has adequate storage capacity for all our data which was need of an hour me.
  • Whenever we think of a solution for backup, Google Drive makes sure of security and files are backed up as we wanted.
  • I really love the architecture and features of Google Drive that fullfils all my professional needs.
  • After using the Google Drive for these many years I see a lot of improvements and it is difficult to see any loopholes.
  • One thing I feel to be improved is the user interface where the variations can be brought in.
  • Secondly, there should be separate plans for freelancers and content writers with value-added services.
When you want to share huge sized files like tutorials, documents, photos then Google drive is a big time saver for you. I highly recommend everyone to use this amazing software that is preferred by most of the professionals and organizations. If you have very small sized files then this software may not be very effective for your business.

  • It had 100% positive impact on my business from all angle.
  • I was able to save a lot of precious time and energy sharing data with my co-workers.
  • Now we use this software for every project be it small or big.
When I closely looked upon features of Google Drive and compared it with Dropbox I found that every feature has enhanced credibility and very broaden in terms of functionality. Google Drive gave me feeling of completeness in itself and nothing was missing that a cloud-based service should provide. Dropbox is just good in space but other features needs much improvement.

I use Google Drive to collect data from surveys that I take. We send out a post-training follow up survey, and the results get dropped into my Google Drive file. This is helpful for me as it allows me feedback on the training exercises that we did, and if they were effective to the learner's development.
  • Speed - when I need to access the files, I don't have to wait for downloading a file, or syncing a file.
  • Simple login to Google allows me to access information from different locations from different web enabled devices.
  • Also very easy to navigate to the files from my computer.
  • Don't really have any weaknesses. Google's platform is very strong and simple to work with!
Most of the files that I need to access are done through my computer. Though I appreciate the ability to sync with my phone and tablet, I would say that I don't utilize that option as much. But the fact that I can access them "on the go", makes me appreciate Google Drive.

  • Positive impact is that it allows me to access data from multiple locations on one cloud. We made adjustments to training strategies based on the surveys we collect data from.
Very similar to Dropbox. Our company used Dropbox more, but for no reason in particular. We have also used Microsoft OneDrive, which has similar functionality to Google Drive. However, I've struggled feeling comfortable with Microsoft's product. Google seems slicker to work with.

Being able to access documents from a computer, tablet, or phone were key factors in helping me to decide to give Google Drive a chance. Also, my team is in 3 different locations, and having the ability to share documents in a single place helps me know that my trainers are getting the most up to date documents, as they are added, editted, or deleted.
I think that I would have read more reviews. There are multiple cloud based storage companies out there. I went with Google Drive because of the brand power of Google.
No
As a company, we did not pursue premium support.
They were able to help me, and were very personable. My problem was lost photos and videos. The support was fine, but the photos and videos were completely lost during transfer from phone to Google Drive, and were not replaceable. Not the fault of the support team, just bad luck when I lost connection.
No
When I lost my photos and videos, the person did spend a lot of time working with me to try to resolve the issues. Unfortunately I was not able to recover any of the photos or videos. But I was impressed with how kind and helpful the person was, and really wanted to get the job done for me!
