(1-25 of 86)- unattended remote access
- simple login
- simple file transfer
- reasonably priced
- sometimes after an update, the unattended access stops working on Macs, and user intervention is required, which is sometimes very difficult to walk a user through allowing 3 or 4 different processes from Mac settings
- other than that, no negatives, as far as my usage
Does LogMeIn Central Live Up to the Hype - YES it Does!!
- Access to Virtual Machines inside network
- Ability to turn the PC back on
- Black out screen on PC you're remoting into for privacy
- Gives me, as the admin, the ability to see who is logged in and I am able to remotely connect to machines as needed for support
- Audio issues for remote pc to your pc on central (works on pro)
- I've had some issues with remoting from PC to Mac in the past
- Would like to see an invisible connection to a PC within LMI as an admin to monitor outside contractors usage.
Central must have for all your buisness needs
- User friendly very easy to use.
- Great back up.
- Great value for your $$.
- Easy to navigate.
- Nothing I can see.
- Again nothing I can see.
- Super easy no issues.
Central for Medium-Large Businesses.

- Broad Application/File Distribution.
- Latency Issues.
- Interface can be challenging to navigate.
- Can be unstable at times.
LogMeIn Central - a good tool for your company
- Fast remote access, no delay and no problem with computers with two or more screens
- You can draw on the user's screen, lock the keyboard and mouse, and all of it is software that has logs for auditing
- Central, also provides silent installation and helps with scripting for GPO enforcement which is a plus when working with multiple users
- Lists all the computers in your domain that have the tool installed, just click on the desired computer to connect
- Can remotely access the computer without the user noticing (hidden)
- It could pull up the user's login in addition to the hostname
- Employee shortcuts like "win+r", "Ctrl+shitf+dell", on the computer that is connected remotely. This is needed
- Being able to minimize the bar in the top corner of the screen that is left when you are connected to a remote computer
Not recommended scenario: Companies that have computers outside their domain, especially when you provide support for other companies or on personal computers, in that case Rescue is recommended.
LogMeIn: The best a (remote) LAN can get!
- real time monitoring of devices up-status
- The speed of the software
- Interface is very clean and easy to navigate
- Initial setup is very simple
- Pricing structure is a bit confusing - there are various add-ons that can seriously increase your cost
- More integrations with software such as Antivirus vendors would be nice
- No Chromebook client at all, and isn't as good with Mac's either
- You can only have 1 technician on a PC at a time
Central Review
- Remote Access on computers
- Execute powershell commands remotely
- Software deployment
- Some agent remote deployment tool, without having to apply via GPO and wait for the user to restart the computer. For example I scan an IP range, enter an administrator login and password and the agent installation is done
Log Me In Central

Hassle Free Remote Tool - Central is a best Platform
- Excellent Remote Tool
- End to End Managing the asset history/Inventory
- Help in Bulk Installation/Uninstallation and pushing scheduled patches/updates
- Complex in using scripts to automate few things like poweroff etc
- If any system is in Shutdown mode, it will not show correctly colour whether it is in live or in shutdown state. We have to manually check by getting inside.
- When we roll few security rules/policies/permissions, it says it was applied but when we check if wasn't the case. We need to do multiple times and cross check whether it is applied

Great Remote Capabilities
- Easily connects
- Assists with installation and training remotely
- Allows us to troubleshoot issues that are out of our scope of expertise
- Is easy to navigate
- Messy display on main screen
- Stealth mode is a little unnerving with privacy (which I understand is necessary for opsec)
- A bit pricey for smaller companies

LogMeIn Central review

- Remote restart
- File transfer
- Looking over a user’s shoulder to troubleshoot
- Lower cost plans
- A better interface from Chromebooks
- The ability to fully control more types of devices
LogMeIn Central - does exactly what they say it does
- Ease of use - it's pretty simple to get in and get started.
- Updates - one of the modules allows you to see what windows updates computers need and to apply them, and to see some 3rd party software that needs updating too.
- Assigning users to machines. Allows you to enable a user to access one or many machines, in a group or one by one. Simple and easy to control access as needed.
- Central managers/admins should have a way to force a reset of a users password - right now each user has to initiate that on their own.
Not so useful when video calling, sometimes the sound gets a bit weird.

- The security of logging in with username and password keeps anyone from being able to take over others system
- The ability to be able to turn on a computer when I'm not able to make it to the location has been a plus.
- I can't think of anything at this time. Everything works very well

LogMeIn Essential for Remote Employees
It also provides a very fast, secure, and easy solution to perform remote support.
In addition, it is also very utilized to provide individual educational training while users can watch at the same time on their screen.
- Enable users to remote connect to their office computers
- Provides an fast and easy remote support solution
- We can provide remote trainings individually
- Gives control to what each user can access
- Fast and easy to remote transfer files
- Full access to remote machine to perform reboot
- Multi monitor support
- High security
- Easy deployment and computers management
- Remote access to support computers via phone and tablets
- It would be interesting to have two users to connect at the same machine remotely
- Speed lags tremendously on MAC computers
We strongly consider this method safer then VPN where we do not always have full control on the remote machines.
LogMeIn Central could be considered less appropriate when remote users are 100% fully out of the office as it does require local maintenance.
LogMeIn is absolutely the best software I use!
- It truly makes it like you are sitting in front of your work computer
- It allows you to have access to all of your programs, printers, etc.
- It enables me to access my payroll information that I have stored on my C drive
- They could improve the function to reconnect when you time out. I have to totally quit the program and log back in.
- They could improve the switching between screens. I would like to have the screens side by side instead to using the monitor button on the top to switch.
- They could make it more difficult to accidentally enter the administrator's screen, which I have done multiple times.
Excellent Remote Desktop Program
- Allows easy remote connection
- No lag
- User friendly
- Lower price
- More computers for the value
- LogMeIn provides stable remote access
- LogMeIn takes security very seriously. Their client connects via secure channels and they offer multifactor authentication—a must in today's threat landscape.
- A recent account update has brought many of the standard Pro features to LogMeIn Central—like file sharing, screen sharing, remote printing and the like.
- Price. I mentioned the new account features, well those were forced, and the price of the system effectively doubled. More warning and choice would have been appreciated.
- They should look more at a client-less way to provide the remote access.
- The client should auto-update without intervention.
LogMeIn at its best!
- Remote access 24x7
- Antivirus/windows updates
- Excellent Portal page to view all workstations and tasks
- Onetomask thershhold tasks are amazing
- The best way to Administer all your workstations in one place
- Provide a current status bar of the virus definition updates
- Allow all windows updates to be downloaded (regardless of group policy settings)
- Tell LogMeIn to only focus on one anti-virus program and not multiple
