1. Scenario: A team member encounters a technical issue on their work computer while on a business trip. LogMeIn Central was able to provide quick and secure remote access for IT support, allowing technicians to troubleshoot and resolve issues without the need for physical presence.

2. Less Appropriate Scenario: Operating in areas with limited internet bandwidth. LogMeIn Central relies on a stable internet connection for efficient remote access. I had experiences where I was unable to resolve issues because of low bandwidth environment.

LogMeIn Central by GoTo is perfect for small IT departments managing many computers especially in different buildings and/or properties. The fact that an IT technician can remotely control and troubleshoot a user's computer without physical access is extremely helpful. It would be less appropriate for a small single building company.

LogMeIn Central by GoTo is well suited for easy, direct access to specific, perhaps mission critical, machines. Its remote control functionality and speed is very good - best in class, really. However, it simply can't replace a true and traditional RMM product in terms of robustness and overall ability (or lack thereof).

LogMeIn Central excels at remote control of PCs in real-time as well as background file transfer. It would be nice if you could run a concurrent session as a different user without disturbing the user as an option, although an interactive session where both you and the user see the same thing is very helpful and is supported. It is useful to monitor and control devices that are being controlled and the devices used to control the other device can be at multiple different locations including ability to use iOS device to remotely control a PC such as using an iPhone to control a PC. This is great for on-demand troubleshooting.

From a single place, I can use LogMeIn Central to monitor which machines need upgrades and determine whether to delay them until after isolated testing. I can also use the One2Many tool to arrange batch updates for third-party software. Plus, it enables me to provide Ad Hoc Support sessions to staff members who are experiencing problems with their client computers.

This is a great tool whether your an SMB (Small/Medium) business or a larger enterprise company. One of the biggest struggles that folks have is when something is not functioning correctly on their laptop or device and they are unable to articulate the issue, or just at a loss. This is also useful with manufacturers who sell laptops/desktops to provide assistance to the end client to identify hardware or software issues on their machine.

Perfect solution when you need 24 hour access to a networked desktop. Also works well to provide support using screen sharing. It has a file transfer feature that works quite well. Two factor authentication provides added security. An invaluable tool in our remote access business world. A time saving superstar!

This platform is great on troubleshooting and doing tech support for remote users. The full tool set allows me to pull and send files to the remote computer/server. I can use shortcut keystrokes to speed out routing short keys on Windows computers. It is really hard to think of a circumstance where LogMeIn Central by GoTo is less appropriate. I can only think of an issue if the remote computer has malware and or issue with internet connectivity and trying to log in becomes ineffective.

Staying on top of the number and amount of kiosks across our multiple building and infrastructure, we can keep them updated and patched appropriately. It's pretty user friendly and easy to navigate once you have a little experience. I feel if we had less devices within our organization it would not be as essential to help maintain them.

Well suited for allowing outside/external users to connect to domain/network VMS or PCs to keep your network secure and manageable. If you're only using it for remote control or support, there are other apps better designed just for that. Easy to access and manage all PCs, VMS on LMI and great visibility.

I have found that large-scale adoption has its challenges, and it would be better suited for small-to-medium-sized businesses. Additionally, the connections have to be solid, which cuts down on the latency issues. Those companies looking to test a remote management tool may find that this tool is reasonable to implement and distribute. Those that are already experienced should have no problem.

Recommended scenario: Medium-sized companies between 1000 employees, when you want to access remote computers in your domain quickly, Central is certainly a recommended tool.

Not recommended scenario: Companies that have computers outside their domain, especially when you provide support for other companies or on personal computers, in that case Rescue is recommended.

If you're a managed service provider, LogMeIn Central is a very good product to consider when purchasing your RMM. The product allows you to manage multiple organisations, with different permission levels for your technicians depending on what you want them to have access to. The software is also just as good for managing devices that are on a remote network somewhere that you can't easily access. Utilising the software across your organisation allows you a high level overview of all of your devices, which makes accounting and inventories really easy to keep up to date. LogMeIn Central is less suited to a small business environment, because the cost of the software is quite high. Although it is a great product, I would say that there are other vendors out there that can offer a cheaper product that does some of the same things (albeit probably not to the same standard).

Central is well suited in supporting a variety of remote machine types. It is quite useful in support windows and macOS endpoints. It would be nice to be able to connect to mobile endpoints in the future. Overall Connect is well suited for our org and saves us a ton of time.

As far my exoerience, this is more suitable on medium level companies where the employee/systems counts are not very high. If your company has more users/connections, then it will be complex to manage

Its a great tool to organise multiple computers in multiple locations to offer support easily with ability to access systems from any location at any time. Have a excellent support team. Its very easy to use and deploy both in remote and on-premises. The UI is user-friendly hence new users find it very much easy to use and learn everything with ease.

Well suited for connecting to computers and laptops for helpdesk support. Can turn off remote desktop for servers enabling a more secure network. It does well at windows updates if you get the patch management module but don't expect much more.

If you are looking for a helpdesk support tool that will manage windows patches and an ok security solution, then this would be for you.

This is well suited for our IT to be able to solve problems quickly and easily for employees who are less tech-savvy. If you don't use a lot of sensitive software or have complicated issues this may not be for you. While I can see benefits in-house, I think this is better suited in remote situations.

It is controlling access to multiple people across multiple organizations. One account can manage multiple groups and computers. In our case, each group is a separate company. This makes it easy to give and control access to end-users. Remote users need the ability to print locally. This works very well with LogMeIn Central.
