  • It is extremely useful to be able to have eyes-on remotely when troubleshooting rather than having a user describe a problem; this leads to quicker image resolution.
  • The ability to access devices from many remote locations and devices (ex. PC or iPhone) is very helpful.
  • It would be nice if an iPhone could be a controlled endpoint as well; it can be a controller, but to my knowledge not be fully remote controlled.

  • Mean time to repair has reduced greatly
  • LogMeIn Central by GoTo only provides Server Level Access to the Terminal Server
  • Can be costly initial cost only supports 25 devices, if you're a large company this adds up very quickly from a pricing standpoint.

  • The screen recording has helped our IT staff prove that the technican was not responsible for issues the end user accused our support staff of doing
  • Overall cost saving out weighs the cost per computer especially at remote sites across the country or world

  • For the most part, the big positive of LogMeIn Central is price. A number of years back, most of the well known and widely used freeware solutions for unattended remote access hiked their prices substantially. LogMeIn remained very competitive. Also, any time I have contacted their support, they have been quick to respond and always very helpful.

  • Allows us to not have to add consultants to our domain and give them O365 licenses by giving them one of our machines. They can use their own securely.
  • Saves us time by not needing to add external consultants to Active Directory and set up full accounts.
  • Allows us to keep our network secure and keep unmanaged computers/devices off our network.

  • Time, many times when some service needed privileged access (administrator) the resolver agent needed to go to the user and this travel time (10 - 15 minutes) because this is a large company. Basically we reduced 50 minutes of service to 20, even 10 minutes
  • After the implementation we achieved a 20% increase in our ticket resolution rate and a 57% increase in the SLA service rate

  • The adoption of Central within our company greatly accelerated the time to resolve tickets that require remote access to computers. Since in some cases we don't even need to access the computer to provide support, just run the commands through the remote powershell from within Central

  • During initial COVID, we got all of our clients' users working from home using LogMeIn Central! It made us an invaluable partner for our clients.
  • LogMeIn Central is part of our business offering. Without it we would be at a competitive loss.
