Greenhouse works best for companies using Job Management where one Job Req. can be used to fill multiple open positions, but job demographics are not used to differentiate between these positions.

If you are using Position Management where each open position represents a separate Job Req. and headcount, the lack of robust reporting and integrations may become a hurdle in achieving maximum automation during system integrations, mainly with an HRIS.

Greenhouse helped my team to figure out the best and the most needed person to put into right place. it helped to figure out the group of candidate and their specialization .it not only helped the team to figure the person for the current opening but also to save some of the potential candidates for future vacancies .

Greenhouse is a great tool for applicant tracking and structuring interviews, though the interface looks a bit clunky. Different stakeholders in the hiring process are able to collaborate during the entire process via Greenhouse and also makes the hiring more streamlined by providing interview toolkits to the interviewer, which has everything available at a single place to conduct the interview. Also the interviewer can mention certain comments which can be visible to the other interviewers.

Greenhouse is a great tool to organize and structure your hiring process. It enables the HR department to make sure that recruiting is fair and without any bias. In my opinion, it's still better suited for larger organizations with multiple departments as the volume of hiring is high and a lot of management and preparation is required at the HR ,hiring manager and other stakeholders.

I really enjoy Greenhouse and it is my ATS of choice. I like the layout, and general UI and I find navigation really easy. I know everyone works differently - and I always recommend Greenhouse as an ATS to look at because I enjoy using it so much! I do think that Greenhouse could be a little more thoughtful in their pricing and packaging - in order to really get the most out of the functionality for specifically depth of candidate reporting it is a pretty significant buy-up. I would like to see more transparency around this and maybe even work arounds for smaller teams who have reporting needs but maybe not budgets. One stand out for me is the google report connecter - that's a great tool!

It’s great for both internal and external job search and serves as database for candidate info even if they didn’t get the job. For example, we can refer back to old candidates and see if they have any interest in particular roles if they weren’t well suited for the one they applied for. It’s occasionally finicky and doesn’t show available jobs to internal candidates so I’d recommend looking on the external official job board first.

Greenhouse is best suited to be used during the hiring process. It allows for simple collaboration between the many key stakeholders involved in the hiring process, allowing them to speak to each other regarding feedback on prospective candidates. Lastly, it keeps everything very organized during multiple hiring conversations, which simplifies the process.

If you want to track applicants, create hiring packets and make the candidate experience simple, Greenhouse is great. The one deficiency is there are no visual dashboards of pipelines. It would be great to have a Tableau connector

Greenhouse is well suited for helping with organizations looking to streamline their applicants. It gets everyone on the team on the same page and helps to streamline candidate scheduling, scorecards, and interview debriefs. It also helps frame what should be talked about in the interview from the interviewer's perspective. It is less appropriate at organizations without a lot of candidates.

Greenhouse is a really flexible tool for small to medium sized companies. The recruiter experience is very customizable and flows well. Larger companies may struggle with the lack of reporting and ability to force consistency in the workflow, reporting fields and general reporting options out of the box.

For organizations of every size, Greenhouse is the best tool for managing the hiring process. We appreciated the ability to track candidate survey results to make sure that we were improving on all of our HR OKRs. The ability to set fine-grained permissions ensured that nobody was blocked yet we had a secure and auditable process.

One aspect of Greenhouse that I use quite often is the ability to create a custom URL for a specific job posting. I can then go and publish that link on social media and if someone applies via that link, I will get the referral credit (if they're hired). Great addition!
