Grovo, now part of Cornerstone LMS

The platform is more stable than competing LMS providers. Also, Cornerstone is a big brand name within LMS. Grovo definitely is among the top 3 LMS players in the small-scale industry space.

Grovo is a top-notch training module that has helped our company step it up! We have created a number of trainings at the ease of a quick overview of the software and a point and click mentality. We love the tracking feature which I don't believe Brainshark had when we used them last. I also love the fact that you can add in GIF and additional visual aides to keep the trainee interested in the training. I also enjoy how they are invested in short 'mirco-burst' trainings as many of our trainings are short and allow our employees to complete them when they have an extra 10 minutes or so. Great software for our company.

Previously we were using Blackboard and an inhouse solution. Both of these took many hours to get ready for new training objectives and provided mediocre employe skill retention. Grovo reduced the overhead for training and has produced better results regarding employee skill retention. We selected Grovo because it was a better solution, it was easier and provided a better result.

Other services I have used (I can't even remember their names) have been launchable only through Internet Explorer and buggy, if a question is answered errantly and an employee tries to go back, the entire platform crashes

Grovo is a more convenient and quick option. It works for our company because it provides more flexibility and is easier to just jump in and use when needed. The range of topics are also more practical, and in my opinion, more relevant to a much wider range of jobs, from entry level up through management.

The elephant in the room for me, would be TreeHouse. Grovo is very similar to TreeHouse in the fact that they're both programs with lesson tracks, simple and short videos, as well as progress trackers. I would have to say that I enjoyed learning coding on TreeHouse over Grovo, based on the wide variety of native coding languages they have implemented. Grovo, although extremely similar and easy to use as well, doesn't stack up to TreeHouse in my opinion. Grove does, however, beat out Lynda in my humble opinion.

Grovo had the best content, cleanest looking website and most affordable pricing for our purposes.
