Grovo's product effectively consists of two parts, the instructional videos and assessments that we produce and the SaaS platform that they live on top of. The videos follow a microlearning methodology which increases learner retention. It's a super helpful software that provides very easy to follow instruction videos (called lesson tracks) that explain the language or software, and follow it up with a series of short quizzes to make sure you understand the material. We have replaced our entire in house training system with Grovo with positive results. Previously we had a system of reading and summarizing to impart new concepts to employees, this system took a lot of man hours to setup and maintain. Mid last year we made a transition to Grovo to see if we could cut down on the upkeep for our inhouse training system. After a few weeks of use we decided to switch the entire company training system over to Grovo. We have had stellar results thus far, information retention among employees has greatly increased. For example, managers may use it in order to learn the best techniques to deal with certain scenarios. Each department may benefit differently by learning skills that are relevant to them, such as customer service skills or even compliance. Each employee has access at all times, and there are also situations where a manager may ask their direct reports to spend some time there.,Ease of Use. The site is awesome for searching for a specific topic.
Convenience. Lessons are generally very quick and easy to fit into even the busiest schedules.
Interface. The website is gorgeous and inviting.,Some videos/lessons leave a lot to be desired and could use more detail.
There's always more room for some more advanced skills.,9,It's an affordable way to train employees. Grovo doesn't seem rote and mechanical like other learning services,It can be difficult for any e-learning service not to seem mechanical in nature when it comes to the average employee performing learning tasks
Many of the "problems" that grovo might seem to display would actually be a function of the organization implementing them,7,Grovo provides a way to launch learning short learning solutions for specific scenarios and activities
