Companies can't remove reviews or game the system. Here's why

My company uses Gusto to process payroll for 10+ clients as well as our own firm. Gusto handles payroll, payroll tax payments, and payroll returns automatically.
  • Payroll Tax Payments
  • Payroll Reports
  • Customer Service
  • Easy to use
  • Limited amount of benefits offered
  • Can be hard to find report you are looking for
I believe that Gusto is well suited for any company that runs payroll for employees or contractors, or any company that handles the payroll of another company.
  • Automatic payroll tax payments
  • Personalized details
  • Chat feature
  • Automatic payroll report filing

  • Spend less time on manual payroll calculations
  • Spend less time on manual payroll reports filing
  • Cost adjusts based on number of employees
  • Intuit Online Payroll (discontinued) and RUN Powered by ADP®
Gusto is better than IOP because Gusto files payroll returns and pays payroll taxes automatically. IOP also does not have a good support feature. Gusto is better than ADP because they are more responsive and have a better and more extensive website.

We use Gusto organization-wide as our payroll processor. Since we're a smaller business, having user-friendly tools on the administrative end is a huge help, since payroll is not being run by a dedicated HR team. We also love how it integrates easily with every other tool we need it to, from time tracking to accounting.
  • Incredibly user-friendly.
  • Excellent support.
  • All the necessary integrations.
  • Wish it had its own built in time-tracking to remove the need of a separate tool.
  • Live chat for lower tiers of service.
Gusto is well suited, in my opinion, to any situation where a company uses payroll. I honestly don't understand why, besides inertia, companies use ADP, Paychex, or any other competitors. Gusto makes payroll easy and that is how it delivers value to us.

  • Gusto frees up immense amounts of time in payroll administration. It's a no-brainer.
The UI is clean and simple. It's incredibly easy to find what you need to find, and if you can't, a quick search of their help files will direct you where you need to go about 90% of the time. For that last 10%, a support e-mail will result in a quick answer. Almost any time I try to do something new I haven't done before with Gusto, I can do it in a few minutes.
While I don't need to reach out to Gusto support much, when I do, it gets a response in very little time. Their answers always address my questions and I've never needed so much as a follow-up e-mail.
There's no comparison here. Any other payroll tool we've ever looked at just can't measure up, at least for our small business use. I'm sure there are some niche applications we're missing, but it just isn't an issue for us. Gusto has a better UI, better support, employees enjoy it more, etc...
