What is Harvest Profit?

Track the Cost of Production and Profitability Year-Round

Harvest Profit’s farm management software aims to allow producers to track their P&L in real-time giving them the confidence to make less emotional and more profit-focused farm business decisions. The goal is to help farmers stop managing farms based on gut feel and emotion.

The vendor states a farm is essentially a manufacturing business made up of many different manufacturing plants (fields). While enterprise-level financial performance is what matters at the end of the day, field-level financial performance will allow users to fine tune an operation. Harvest Profit aims to make this process easy.

In addition, its grain marketing plan builder will allow users to build a profit-focused marketing plan. The user receives notifications when a plan’s price and/or date targets have been met. This allows the user to focus on raising crops instead of fixating on market prices, which no one has control over.
