Reliable Antivirus and patch management
In my professional career (in which I have been employed at the same location) I haven't actually used another product. Any time we have interviewed a potential new supplier their product really hasn't been better.

Works as expected; with little interaction required (if desired) once setup. Support are always on hand and helpful.
We assessed both ManageEngine and Qualys (specifically their patch management solution) against Heimdal Patch and Asset Management. Qualys was an outlier in terms of cost and felt complex for setup at the time (I believe this has now improved) when compared to both alternate solutions. When considering our patch solution we also wanted a product that could integrate additional features (Spam filtering, endpoint protection, remote desktop support) under "a pane of glass". Heimdal Patch and Asset Management seemed to cover this off within the best interface at a competitive price for each additional solution.

Automating patch managment to free up time and improve security.
We Kaseya VSA as our RMM tool and this also incorporates patch and asset management. Although it overlaps Heimdal Patch and Asset Managment, VSA has a different database of 3rd party software. We use both solutions to give us a greater coverage of patches to ensure as many vulnerabilities as possible are patched.

Depending on your size of organization and adoption of MS technologies Heimdal still stands tall with its vast list of supported applications. We have customers where both intune and Heimdal are used. It is also extremely cost-effective, so is a great fit for organizations that don't have enterprise-level budgets.
