Hevo Data - Easy to use ETL
Hevo is great tool for managing data pipelines. The user interface is clear and it's easy to use. We need a tool that allows us to create a large number of pipelines for our organization and with Hevo we easily build automated pipelines. Hevo's great feature is automatic detection and provides the notification of failed data pipelines. Integration is also easy with so many databases like SQL, Google Sheet, etc. Hevo customer support team also provides good services.

Hevo - a price fit for non-complex use
We extract data from various sources and load into a single SQL warehouse. We extract sources from Facebook, AdWords, Bing and various others. We load roughly 70GB a month and Hevo keeps our data live (or not) depending on our use case. It addresses our ETL issue by simplifying and housing everything in a single tool instead of us writing script/api's and then scheduling ,which is of course the cheaper option but maintenance overhead is not fun.

Fivetran is a really good product, but it is extremely pricey. Especially if you don't have dollar buying power in your country. If you don't require complex transforms and data governance tools then Hevo is much cheaper and probably a better fit for purpose product. Essentially I selected Hevo because of the price. It was a CBA, and Hevo won.

Reasons why I like using Hevo Data to create data models
Hevo Data is a ETL tool which helps us in flattening of nested data. Our database is MongoDB which is a semi-structured database. So Hevo Data help us to create data pipelines or data models which is a processed table. Hevo Data can be connected to multiple sources such as Redshift, Prosgresql, google sheets etc. Hevo Data really help us to create automated pipelines which updates on near real-time.

- If we are getting data from other sheets then sheet which is connected to Hevo Data doesn't updates in real-time.
- Hevo Data change time in it's workbench on its own. For e.g. If our database timestamp is in UTC format then Hevo Data will automatically change the time to IST but if I run the same code outside the Hevo Data workbench then time is still in UTC. This creates lots of confusion while working on Hevo Data.
