HiBob, the best All-in-One HR Platform on the market

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Having just launched HiBob for the second time at a second company, I am genuinely fascinated by the systems versatility, customizability and scaleability.

The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive (yet again), with people most impressed by the access we can give employees and managers to manage their own information and action so many HR tasks including Time Off, Performance, One-on-Ones and so much more from one location. We had run into the issue where we had too many systems for our people. HiBob consolidates all that we need into one handy location.

Real Time data analytics will be a gamechanger in terms of our tracking of our goals and manager access to really make data driven decisions and action the related tasks at the touch of a button will revolutionize how our people manage and are managed, leading to a much improved user experience and employee lifecycle engagement.

Integrated Time off with powerful integrations to Slack and other systems greatly improves our ability to keep accurate records, while also allowing Managers quick actions to complete simple tasks with less effort. Our people love the "request time off" feature of the HiBob Slack App.

Overall, our people's engagement with our HRIS is vastly improved and will lead (and already has led) to a significant professionalization of our offerings.

Best UX for an HR software

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use HiBob as our global HR solution. It houses all employee information, our org chart, management of time off and more. It integrates well with other SaaS providers we use including our SSO platform and Slack, making it a seamless part of our workflow.

Pros

  • Easy to use
  • Great integrations
  • Fun and engaging UX

Cons

  • To get the full experience your employees really need to engage with the software - if they don't when they set things up there is no encouragement to do it later.
  • There is (or was) an option to publicly display salaries - this should be very difficult to accidentally do!

Return on Investment

  • One stop shop for all employee information - provides transparency and saves time.
  • Attendance management is so easy!

Bob is a good guy, but you need to know how to behave with him

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Hibob is our HRIS. Whether that’s our people themselves (being able to see all of their employment information in one place, being able to book a holiday and see when others have time off), our managers (getting a full view of their team’s details - salaries, job titles, locations in one place and seeing time off in full view in order to capacity plan accurately) or our People, Culture and Inclusion team (reporting, right to work checks, onboarding new folks, onboarding ourselves onto new systems and employment changes) - all of these things get simpler with Bob.

We make a great use of the automation of tasks that Bob allows to build, from new joiners to leavers, from probation and onboarding to parental leave, we have created flows that automatically assign tasks to the relevant people, to make sure nothing is missed on important lifecycle phases of employees.

Pros

  • Managing time off
  • Automating tasks
  • Build reports

Cons

  • Hard-coded lifecycle statuses of employees that prevent them from performing certain actions
  • Flexibility to adapt to company policies
  • Can't assign tasks to other people if those who are usually in charge of that task are on holiday

Most Important Features

  • Flows and task lists
  • Time off
  • Reports

Return on Investment

  • 50% time saved from the People Team (it could have been a lot higher, but it takes a lot of time to understand how HiBob works and the workarounds that one needs to build where the functionality needed is not present)
  • 100% increase in automation of tasks
