I use Highspot as an Account Executive. The business problems we use Highspot for are to help us centralize where our most up-to-date assets are and to track engagement on the proposals/follow-ups we send to prospective clients. This has helped save me time on what materials to include with my clients and nail timing on when and what to follow up with as Highspot alerts me on where my prospects are spending the most time within my proposal decks.
  • Timing / Engagement - our deal cycles involve multiple personas and cross collaboration across up to 3 divisions within companies. We don't always have direct access to the DM. Using Highspot's trackable links shows me when/if DM's have viewed my proposal, which helps me gauge how our deal ranks amongst their priorities.
  • Knowing this, I'm able to tailor my follow-ups to highlight and ask questions on which slides they are spending the most time on. It also helps me nail timing as Highspot alerts me when my proposal has been viewed so I can follow up with my prospects when we're top of mind.
  • Assets - before Highspot, our assets were in Google Drive, many of which we had multiple copies of. It was difficult to locate where updated assets lived. Now, we're able to have our documents in Highspot and also search via Slack. Since having our assets in Highspot, I've used more of the material our teams produce.
  • Winning - I was able to close my first deal using Highspot within our 1st month of partnership. I was working with 4 POCs but had not met with the CMO. I included them in emails and received 0 responses after my first 4 emails.
  • On the 5th email, I shared the Highspot trackable proposal, and the data shared showed me when and where the DM was spending their time. I followed up with a question on the slide they spent 2+ minutes on and received a follow-up question shortly after from them and was able to answer their 1 remaining concern and set us to close before the EOM! Knowing the DM was viewing my proposal gave me more confidence in the deal as I met internally with my team on why I felt confident this deal would close.
  • Providing trackable data within "Smart Pages" like we see when using the "pitch" feature.
Great for delivering insight on which personas are engaging with the material shared.

If I've had multiple meetings with personas, but they have not engaged with my proposal, I'm now able to understand the priority of our partnership and how it ranks within their other initiatives.
  • Data on which slides have the most time spent on
  • Easy to find and remix content
  • Faster time to close
  • Better staging on deal progress
  • Closed 40K deal before EOM. Data from trackable links via Highspot helped me contact DM when we were top of mind and tailor my email to the slide they spent the most time on
It's very easy to find and load content on the platform.
  • Sending pitches
  • Finding content
  • Slack
  • Google Drive

We use Highspot as a sales enablement one.stop.shop solution for internal readiness & training as well as customer-facing collateral/assets to drive our sales process, and ultimately impact our bottom line/target revenue goals. We are using it to share content with colleagues via Sharing capabilities and Pitching content externally with prospects and customers, gaining insights on read receipts, and targeting what's on our customers' whiteboards (their projects and pain points, etc). It's replaced the previous tech that we weren't fully leveraging or which couldn't provide us all the bells & whistles we needed (eg. Marketo Plugin, etc.).
  • Content library/storage and access
  • Ongoing refresh/sync to updated content
  • Sharing content externally with analytics (AI).
  • Personal library/content "Spot"
  • Pitch functionality is a bit confusing for new users (email vs. link vs. video vs. live etc.)
  • Pitch templates or "microsites".
  • Content "Spots" that are links to other sites look odd (box with arrow pointing out).
Highspot is a solid sales enablement platform to be used both as an in-house content library as well as a customer outreach tool (eg. Pitching). We're just getting started with using the analytics functionality involved with Pitch and with overall trending content/analytics internally with our usage and ramifications across sales teams. Works well with Business Development (prospecting 100% of the time all the time) as well as with Account Execs (new logos) and Customer Success teams for ongoing customer growth efforts.
  • Pitch.
  • Content Library.
  • Usability/Easy to learn UI.
  • Eyes on what customers view, length of time viewing and sharing with others internally.
  • Decreasing the likelihood we are sharing out/pitching outdated content.
SharePoint has been difficult to search (not a very powerful user interface or search filtering functionality). Brainshark didn't provide everything we wanted.
It's a rather intuitive user interface and pretty easy to click around and use with the potential exception of "Pitching" vs. "Analytics" and what's tracked where, etc.
  • Search
  • Customizing Profile
  • Sharing (internally)
  • Pitching (via email)
  • Integrating/sync with Cloud apps (eg. Salesforce.com)
  • Pitch functions (link v. email v. live v. video)
  • Analytics - what is this and what can I do with it
  • "Spots": why should I use these when the Search is so powerful & slick?

We use Highspot daily, our marketing team updates brochures we can use from Highspot that are always current and updated. We can also add forms and documents in Highspot that we use regularly and want to add as the Highspot attachment where a receiver can see the snippet of the attachment before opening it. It looks more professional and I save a ton of time having all my documents in one place and consistently updated. I would not want to go without Highspot, it saves me a ton of time sending out multiple emails a day addressing different products and levels of interest.
  • Saves me time daily
  • Organizes my brochures and are current
  • Keeps my frequently used ones at the top and easy to find
  • Shares documents with everyone so we are consistent when sending current materials
  • Looks professional and easy to use
  • Add a date for when the brochure was last updated and by whom
  • Point out possible duplicates of brochures
Everyday use, our clients will always receive current brochures updated by our amazing marketing team. Highspot makes our emails look professional and trusted since they can see what the brochure is and makes it desirable to open. Highspot is easy to use, it integrates with Gmail and Groove.
  • Ease of use
  • Marketing and sales can use it in harmony
  • Integrates well with our Gmail and Groove
  • Reporting
  • Saving sales people time every day
  • Easy to use and maintain
  • Visibility into what is being viewed by the recipient
We use Highspot in conjunction with our other programs and it works great. We are able to use the features and functions from each to help us with our daily outreach and have an idea of what is working and what isn't.

We use Highspot in all level and divisions of our sales organizaion accross multiple markets/education offerings. We have individuals in enrollment on up to b2b representatives who work with the different clientes within the organization, our marketing deparment crafts and delivers the messages and maintains them for the various departments as well as our management to ensure consistent messaging accross the various business units.
10
My understanding is our management team to ensure consistent messaging accross the different business units, our marketing teams to ensure the messaging matches our brand and appropriate messaging for the various platforms as well as customization for products that are offered to various b2b customers as well as other back end individuals to ensure Highspot is working appropriately in conjunction with our email and Groove so we can provide and see reporting on opens and client engagement.
  • Customization accross the different products for our various clients
  • Consistency in messaging and look of correspondence
  • Tracking and open rates
  • Easily send multiple messages and customize what is being sent
  • Integrate with muiltiple platforms, i.e. Groove, SalesForce, gmail
  • Recipients seem to open and trust the brochure and open it
  • I would like to see automatic updats happen in brochures that have been sent
  • It would be neat to see if the brochure has been shared and how many times it's been opened
  • Integration with other platforms it doesn't offer today
I love Highspot, it saves me a ton of time every single day. I like how my correspondence looks professional and I know what I'm sending is accurate and company approved. I'm able to add it to an email template in seconds and choose multiple brochures if it fits the information the student wants or requested. I can also customize templates to make them company specific when appropriate.
Not Sure
We had webinars done by Highspot and they offered name and contact information for support if and when needed. I found this extremely helpful and supportive as we had either internal support or direct support. This can make a big difference in time and response when and if you encounter a problem.
I'm not sure what our company decided on in terms of support but it seems we always have fast and easy resolution whenever needed. Everything is resolved timely and seems simple to explain needs and are easily and quickly corrected. I don't have any complaints as a user when it comes to the support we have either internally or externally.
Yes
Yes, it was approximately 48 hours for resolution, when I reported the issue I talked to someone in our internal marketing team, they were already aware of the issue and it was resolved in 48 hours. I didn't have to make multiple requests or explanaions, it was simple and timely. I didn't receive a notice that it was fixed but I know it was reasonably quick.
I'm sorry I don't have a specific example; however, I have not been dissappointed in all the years I've been using this product. I still use it every day and it's still one of my favorite products as a salesperson this is a great communication tool and I can always rely on it's efficiency and ease of use.
I find Highspot incredibly easy to use. I use it constantly and when it's updated by our marketing team I don't have to be involved I just keep sending what I need and it's there when it's available. Our Marketing team can see what's working and what's not, who is using what, etc and they are able to make updates and changes when needed.
  • Professional looking emails
  • Brochures are up to date
  • Insert brochures into templates

Highspot is used internally to house our content marketing material, case studies, and internal documents that we use for reference. It is well organized so that different teams have their own material to look at, easily search for any documents in relation to what I need answers on, and to link and track documents that I send out internally to understand what my prospects are looking at the most.
  • Highspot organizes internal content extremely well, making any company resources easy to find.
  • Highspot has great analytics and insights on link tracking for the content you send out externally.
  • Highspot is great for the integrations it has with SSO and gmail.
  • Highspot can be a bit difficult to navigate at times due to how much material can be stored. At times it's just a bit overwhelming
  • I find it a bit cumbersome to add additional content into Highspot.
  • Pitching content is not as simple as it could be. Being able to add templated snippets would be useful.
Highspot is well suited for organizations who have lots of internal documents that people constantly need to be referencing. It's especially good for companies with 200+ employees so that people don't have to constantly ask, "where do I find this content?"
Highspot is not as well suited for small organizations that have fewer internal documents and employees.
  • Highspot is great for understanding what my prospects are looking at when I send them information due to the tracking analytics.
  • Highspot allows me to easily access case studies, pricing and product FAQ's, making it easy to get information over to my prospects.
  • Highspot allows me to combine certain pages from separate documents, allowing me to send aspects of different documents that are applicable to my prospects, rather than sending four different documents that they will likely not look at.
I use Highspot every day. It is basically my go-to spot to find anything I need to know about the product, like pricing and internal processes. It also helps me provide value-added emails to my prospects with extreme ease. Without Highspot I would not have the current success that I have right now in sales.
We have internal people who manage Highspot that are so well trained on the product that it must come from the customer success manager from Highspot. The platform is basic and pretty straightforward to use, meaning that there is not that much help or assistance needed on an ongoing basis.

Being used across the whole organization as a central hub for all content and resources. Sales, Customer Success, Enablement, Pro Serve, Marketing and Product.

Highspot houses all internal and external content that is for internal knowledge and that can be shared to clients. It's also used for all new hires to access any archived and recent collateral that may be relevant across the different business functions.

Highspot is also used as the personal drive for all employees to save their decks or infosheets. Easy to access or share out to clients from within Highspot
  • Searchable Content + Collateral
  • Organized info by department and provide transparency
  • Allows you to share content externally and track views
  • Solid reporting on which content is performing well
  • More filters on searches
  • More simplified view
Medium to large organizations that have a large amount of content and resources. It is a great tool to organize content by department, industry/vertical, type of content (PDF, Resources, One Pagers, etc.), and internal/external content.

Additionally, it allows users to get what they need very quickly. By a quick search in the search bar you can find the most relevant content that may be buried at the bottom of a more traditional pile.

Highspot is great for sales-focused companies. Allows your Sales Reps to work efficiently and quickly. Lots of features like the "Pitch" feature that allows reps to send out content to a prospect and be able to customize the setting and track the views of that content. Internally admins can then get analytics on what content works and what doesn't.
  • Sending out content to prospects and being able to track views
  • Easily find case studies and resources by industry to share with clients
  • You are able to upload you own custom content to highspot to share out to clients (Slide Decks)
Has a lot of advanced features, but they could make it a bit easier to navigate and learn.

Requires additional training to really learn all of the powerful features of Highspot like pitches and analytics

Sidebar is easy to navigate types of content. Gets more difficult when you are trying to see the individual actions you can take for each piece of content
I have not had to use support for Highspot
Highspot is so much more versatile than Google Drive. Its feels more secure and easier to organize content. It is also much more Sales Focuses and allows for collaboration and features to share content clients with tracking.
