i like how its easy to login , create rooms or start private conversations . The best feature i like describing usability is searching history of conversation in either a room or private conversation just by typing single word .Easy file uploading and downloading .Mention feature is very easy to use which shows all the names starting with given letter .

I gave HipChat this rating because at that time, HipChat was ahead of the game. It was very easy to use and install. It solved a lot of problems we were having internally for our organization. HipChat also allowed the ease of integration with Jira and other products, which in turn allowed my team and the organization as a whole to be more productive, efficient, and transparent.

The app itself had a pleasant if not generic interface. As a user experience expert and engineer I can say the interface is fairly intuitive if not bland. It does what you expect it to do and it's available on iOS and Android devices. If I recall it was generally pretty light weight in terms of installation size.

HipChat is fairly easy to use with a couple hiccups here and there. Overall it functions as a simple chat communication for technology teams. It integrates well with other systems Atlassian provides such as JIRA.
