Origin Story: The first version of Homerun was an internal tool that organized the work of sales engineers. According to the vendor, the problem was that they were managing multiple deals at any given time, jumping from customer calls to demos to POCs and back using multiple tools: a CRM, notepad, docs, spreadsheets, etc. So Homerun is built for both presales leadership and individual sales engineers, presales teams of all sizes use Homerun to achieve exceptional presales results.

Homerun Presales Platform enables sales teams and sales leaders to better qualify opportunities by taking the SE's perspective and sentiment into account. This leads more open conversations between sales teams and helps reveal gaps. Homerun Presales Platform also acts as a workbench for SEs to stay more organized, leading to more clarity on deals, allowing those same gaps to be identified early and often.

Homerun is great for teams that are struggling to seperate their pre-sales/SE program and reporting from the Account Executives. Many SE teams struggle with CRMs that have been built around AEs. This platform is a great way to give you quick insights that are SE specific.

The biggest issue I have found that HomeRun has solved for us is when someone is out of the office, and I have to fill in I know where the data is and can easily prepare for whatever the customer needs with a seamless transition from one engineer to another. I also love the action items. As I am meeting with the customer or entering data, I add the Action items and have my reminders in the same location as I have everything else I need for the customer.

Homerun is excellent for Presales teams of all sizes. It's particularly great if you're looking to grow along with a vendor, as the founders are extremely responsive and treat you like true partners. For Customer Success use cases, Homerun has some growing to do.

Well-suited for teams looking for an organized way to centralize their POC workflows. If you are finding yourself having personal notes in one place, your CRM updates in another, and your ticketing system being disconnected from it too - Homerun is a great tool for organizing all of that into one place. It has made communicating my POC statuses much easier and has cut down on a lot of the unnecessary time spent on consolidating information from multiple systems.
