Users of Homerun have found that the platform greatly improves their presales activities by centralizing and organizing their work, leading to improved collaboration and streamlined workflows. With Homerun, users can track opportunities for their Solutions Architecture team, keep records of sales tooling, and connect related bugs and feature requests, allowing them to easily track metrics around team performance. Additionally, Homerun helps users stay organized when running proof of concepts, or POVs, by providing a central location for internal notes, CRM links, and ticketing. Users appreciate the insight into their mid-funnel process, SE activity reporting, and capacity planning that Homerun offers, giving them visibility and transparency to leadership and sales partners.

The software also plays a crucial role in technical evaluations for partners, customers, and executives as it provides full visibility and the ability to pull reports for management. Users have noted that Homerun offers activity tracking, capacity planning, and pre-sales-specific performance metrics that were not readily available in their CRM. By keeping all work related to deals in one central location, Homerun allows others to access it, providing managers with visibility across the team. Moreover, users have found that Homerun makes the organizational aspect of note-taking, discovery notes, POV check-ins, and product feedback easy, clean, and maintainable. The software solves various business problems such as understanding cycle times, FR impacts, efficiency, win rates, and the current state. It also provides insights that were previously missed, enabling users to measure their team's overall health and effectiveness from the PoC stage to Tech Win.

Furthermore, Homerun is leveraged by users for centralizing POC management by integrating it with their CRM and ticketing systems. This integration helps streamline workflows and facilitates sharing success criteria and POC status with internal and external stakeholders. The platform's dashboarding capabilities and metrics provide visibility into reducing the cost of sale and assist in decision-making processes. Users particularly appreciate the easy-to-use Kanban board for opportunity/POV tracking and the rollup of metrics for opportunities. Before using Homerun, users struggled with scattered notes and files, but the software has provided a single location for all their data, making it easily accessible and facilitating seamless transitions between team members. Overall, Homerun is highly valued by users for its ability to centralize and organize presales activities, improve collaboration, and provide valuable insights throughout the sales process.

Collaboration Tool: Users have praised Homerun as an excellent collaboration tool, allowing their teams to work together more effectively. Many reviewers appreciated the intuitive and user-friendly nature of Homerun's platform, making it easy for anyone to start using it right away.

Centralized Data Storage: The single location for all data provided by Homerun has been highly valued by users. They no longer need to search through multiple platforms for their notes and files. This feature has improved efficiency and saved time for many reviewers.

Kanban Board for Sales Pipeline Management: The kanban board feature in Homerun, specifically designed for opportunity and POV tracking, stands out as a valuable tool. It allows users to easily track and manage their sales pipeline. Several users have highlighted this feature as one of the key benefits of using Homerun.

Missing Save Option: Some users have found it inconvenient that certain fields in the platform do not have a save option, resulting in potential data loss or extra effort to manually save their work.

Clunky Integrations: Several reviewers have mentioned that the integrations in the tool can be clunky and not very seamless. They specifically pointed out small icons used to activate edit sections as being difficult to locate and use effectively.

Feature Gaps and Challenges: Since Homerun is still in its early stages of development, some users have encountered feature gaps and challenges while using the software. These gaps may hinder their workflow and require workarounds until they are addressed by future updates.
