HubSpot Academy helped to achieve skills related to HubSpot and digital advertising. What I liked about HubSpot Academy is it's free and it is a great learning tool.
  • Free Video lectures
  • Free Certification
  • Best source to learn new things in Marketing
  • It's upto the mark
  • No need for improvement
  • Providing everything a learner wants
It is well suited for the people who are in marketing. When coming to roles it is suitable for people who do digital advertising, marketing automation and inbound marketing
  • Helps to learn new things related to HubSpot software
  • It helps in building attribution reports.

HubSpot Academy offers a detailed and relevant sales & marketing education programs to further enhance the skillset of a sales professional. Generally, the tool is used to develop strategies for cold calling, onboarding, customer data collection and customer retention. I used this tool frequently, perhaps monthly, to glean useful and measurable information to increase my gross profit margin.
  • Marketing and sales tips that can be implemented right away
  • Virtual learning environment that offers flexibility
  • Certified training respected in the sales vertical
  • Free to those who use HubSpot CRM
  • Clear, concise courses
  • Expanded library of sales and marketing courses
  • The duration of some courses is pretty long. Some material can be consolidated so the course doesn't run so long.
  • I've taken a couple of courses where the instructors move too quickly. This can be challenging for someone new to using the platform or even to sales.
  • Those new to the sales or marketing role may not fully understand the inbound methodology of HS Academy. Perhaps "real life" scenarios can better demonstrate the effectiveness of this approach.
As a 20+ year sales professional, I have found HS Academy to be an effective learning tool. It offers a comprehensive look and demonstration of the inbound methodology and how to implement strategies into one's sales process. The cold calling information was extremely helpful as it helped me with tactics to easily overcome initial objections and get a meeting with the decision maker. I believe HS Academy offers a plethora of coursework for various levels of sales and marketing professionals.
  • Quality and relevant content
  • Flexible course schedule
  • Certification
  • Course length/duration can vary and occupy too much time for the sales team.
  • Some courses can be consolidated; may be duplicate learnings between two different courses
  • Certificates expire after 1-2 years
Salesforce does offer instructor-led or self-paced learning and the certifications weigh pretty heavily with customers and employers. I think HS Academy provides comparable learning with an opportunity for attendees to implement new tactics and strategies into their routine. The real word examples are relevant and smart, and HS Academy offers various scenario-based learning to give attendees to see the methodology used in different environments.

I used HubSpot Academy to train myself to use HubSpot. This has been very helpful to bring my company up to speed. In fact, we were able to migrate to HubSpot a month earlier than expected because of the training I received. I still refer back to the Academy often.
  • Video content.
  • Clear explanations.
  • Marketing tips and strategies.
  • PDFS of lecture.
  • More specific use cases.
  • How to track paid ads.
HubSpot Academy is well-suited if you are learning HubSpot. For more advanced users the knowledge base is more appropriate. The Academy has a lot of different use cases, and I was able to get up to speed on the different marketing functionalities. I also appreciated the screenshots of what the software looked like.
  • Clear videos.
  • Friendly staff.
  • Bite-size information.
  • Implementation a month early.
  • Less time paid to consultants.
  • Implemented advanced functionalities quickly.
HubSpot CRM is a better fit for us than Ontraport. Ontraport was OK when we just started implementing email marketing. Now that we want to tie together sales and marketing and also our ticketing, HubSpot has simplified the workflow for us. It's very convenient to log into just one portal to do everything.

Our company uses it to stay up to date with Inbound and HubSpot knowledge, best practices. etc. We also take courses relevant to our positions and what will benefit us. For example, I've taken the social media, content and email marketing courses to keep updated on best practices and refresh myself on key ideas.
  • Great at simplifying complicated theories and ideas
  • Good refresher for staying up to date in the world of Inbound marketing
  • Easy to follow videos and practice questions
  • [I feel] they could expand the lessons to more real-world examples and ideas to take the learning further
  • [I believe] the ability to go back on a question in the exam would be nice
  • New courses that go more in depth on a certain topic, with homework and ideas to try
HubSpot Academy is best suited for busy professionals who can fit in time for short videos, slowly working on each course and writing down key points in between before the exams at the end. It is more high-level, so if you're looking for advanced courses these probably aren't the best fit.
  • Training on important topics
  • The educational aspect, learning new things
  • Displaying badges to show others our skill set
  • Not a $ ROI but a great educational tool
  • Helps us stay up to date with new inbound trends and best practices
  • Knowledge of new areas helps us offer more to our clients
Digital Marketer is another one I've used, and it's more for detailed courses with examples and worksheets. You take the knowledge and apply it for actionable results right away, where as HubSpot Academy are more high-level courses to refresh you on various topics, but don't go into too much detail on actionable ideas and examples to try.

[HubSpot Academy has] been used by Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to be up to date in terms of best practices for Marketing strategies, pipe generation, etc. It helps us identify the best ways to grow our business
  • Their video library is awesome
  • Their teachers are high quality
  • It's super intuitive
  • Honestly, I don't find anything hard to use
[HubSpot Academy is] just a great tool for everyone who wants to grow at their Marketing, Sales, or customer success career. Their courses are very detailed in information, their teachers are the best in the industry, and it's just easy to take some time and learn.

I have enjoyed it a lot.
  • Sales Enablement
  • Content Marketing
  • Blog
  • It has helped me get more knowledge to apply at my company and grow in my own career.
I think it goes straight to the point. It doesn't have a million courses but it's enough with the ones they have because they're amazing.
