Customers have found valuable use cases for Ibexa DXP in their digital experiences. One notable use case is its ability to host websites, including a global website that consolidates 55 different sites into one. This has enabled organizations to streamline their online presence and provide a unified experience for their users.

Another key use case of Ibexa DXP is its multilingual capabilities. With the ability to easily share products and localize content in 32 languages, customers have found it convenient to manage multilingual content directly from the platform. Editors can translate elements like navigation and buttons, making it easier to create and maintain multilingual websites.

Ibexa has been a valuable partner for customers over the years, providing support and assistance during product upgrades and migrations. Its versatile platform is well-suited for organizations with complex structures that require flexibility in hosting digital services. Despite limited market connections with other products, customers have praised the platform's power and the ability to accomplish almost anything with a skilled development team.

However, some challenges have been encountered by customers due to the mix of old and new codebases within Ibexa DXP, particularly when maintaining older legacy code. Nonetheless, the product has proven instrumental in building and maintaining flagship websites, significantly reducing the time required for updates and changes.

The block-based technology of Ibexa DXP allows customers to configure unique pages while ensuring consistency throughout the site. This has been beneficial for organizations that aim to provide personalized experiences while maintaining a cohesive brand identity.

Content creators have also benefited from Ibexa DXP as it enables them to work independently as editors without relying heavily on developers. This has empowered businesses with content-heavy applications such as e-learning platforms.

Overall, Ibexa DXP serves as a reliable Content Management System for customers' primary websites, supporting a range of applications from subscription products to research tools with vast archives of magazines. Its features and flexibility make it a valuable solution for organizations seeking to enhance their digital presence.

Users commonly recommend implementing a redirect strategy for effective management of the CMS across different versions. They emphasize the importance of seamlessly redirecting users to the appropriate content even when changes are made to the website structure or URLs.

Reviewers also suggest getting development teams trained in the use of the CMS as soon as possible. This enables them to fully utilize the features and capabilities of the system, resulting in more efficient and effective content creation and management.

Users further recommend thinking of eZ Publish as a platform rather than just a CMS. By viewing it holistically, users can leverage its customization facilities and customer enhancements to tailor the system to their specific needs. They highlight that eZ Publish is suitable for handling complex functional requirements and accommodating specific design needs.

Additionally, users mention the availability of support, an Enterprise Edition, and consultants provided by eZ Systems. They advise conducting proper due diligence through application and page development in eZ Publish. Users acknowledge that while eZ Publish may initially appear complex, they believe it has the potential to lead to desired outcomes with proper training or partnering with an implementation company for best practices.

International organizations [that] have complex structures, with offices and presences around the world would be best suited to use Ibexa. The flexibility to maintain multiple websites and languages in one system is very helpful. That, and [maintaining] one brand identity easily, make the platform well suited for companies looking for a flexible, and reliable system.
