Sometimes the answers seems not thought [out] enough. Too generic and don't address the issue, multiple contacts are needed just to explain the need, [and] it feels that the help desk is more worried about closing the request than answering the question.

[The] IBM Clinical Development team help[ed] us all the way during setup, making everything a lot easier. Every time that we were stuck it helped us find a way to do it better. They guide us all the way through until we were fully functional. They took us by hand on every step.

The customer service team is very supportive. It has supported our implementation since we started investing on this platform. Educating our team members on how to effectively work with IBM Clinical Development was well planned and our team started working with it within the shortest time possible. I can say the overall process was very productive.

IBM support is always extremely responsive when I send them questions. They usually respond within 15 minutes to let me know they are looking into the question. They have also helped with Data Interventions, as well as help coding some difficult visit rules for us. They have helped substantially on many of our studies.

ICD's support team is phenomenal. They are quick to answer or indicate that they need to research to provide an answer. There are some things that they cannot do which we can be annoying but we deal with it (visit windows). I have been very happy with the support team.

Support is very quick in their responses and always eager to help and have our issues resolved on highest priority; much appreciated. However, as previously mentioned, calls should be preferred to share screen and discuss the issues, but this should not be charged extra, since we just need additional support on the already existing configuration/settings.

IBM Clinical Development support team respond[s] immediately when we contact them. Also, if they are not able to provide a solution immediately, they do let us know or keep us posted about the status of our issue. So far, the experience has been good.

Our organization has been using both IBM Clinical Development and in-house applications. The main considerations on which one to use for a particular study is time to get the databases running, cost, and ease of use. For some studies, the time and cost of using ICD are negative factors, and an in-house system is selected.
