Good simple monitoring tool
We run our applications in IBM Cloud, and we use IBM Cloud Availability Monitoring tool to monitor all of our applications.
- Easy and simple to set up
- Good integration with the overall cloud platform
- Ease of use
- Missing advanced functionalities when compared with other similar tools
- Allowed us to get monitoring with our applications quickly without having to spend too much time researching other tools.
- Very cost effective for basic monitoring needs.
IBM Cloud Availability Monitoring is a very basic monitoring tool. As the name suggests, it only monitors the availability of your systems. While it is a good tool to get started with, it lacks many advanced features available with other solutions such as New Relic, which you will need as you grow.
