The IBM Flash System 7200 is used in our company to optimize and improve our business processes. This is a great repository that is used by every IT department in our organization. Its high performance has helped us with compression and is very useful for optimizing storage, allows integration with VMware, and is perfect.
  • The interface is quite simple and easy with lots of huge features.
  • Build and modernize the business with end-to-end NVMe.
  • The platform uses incredible professional analysis to optimize networks and storage space.
  • Implementation and maintenance should be simple and easy for the beginners.
  • It is quite expensive, maintenance costs can rise.
  • Not recommended for smaller data sets.
IN IBM-compatible scenarios, the IBM Flash System 7200 offers high performance and adds storage optimizations along with compression features. The number of interfaces, especially Fiber Channel, allows us to implement a large number of disk arms, which leads to higher platform performance. I still can't find any scenarios when the team has problems.
Personally, I think it is intended for medium to large organizations because it is very fast in transfer, but the data storage requirements are also higher in these organizations and the planned budget is sometimes not enough but in my organization, this is the matrix. This is very appropriate.

IBM FlashSystem 7200 is the best solution for enterprise flash array storage, as it really solves the issue of multi-form storage that we did not give much of our attention to initially. IBM FlashSystem 7200 has so many storage options, which are of great benefit and importance for me and my business on so many levels. The workloads of IBM FlashSystem 7200 are very high performing which is great.
  • I use this for record-keeping, which is a highly transactional process and I don’t feel that there was a better option available than IBM FlashSystem 7200.
  • We have never really faced any major issues as far as performance is concerned with IBM FlashSystem 7200.
  • The software also has a low latency rate, which is amazing because it means that the network is optimized to process at a relatively high volume.
  • I personally feel that IBM FlashSystem 7200 should really improve their online compression because it requires further attention to become a better platform.
  • IBM FlashSystem 7200 should also have a deduplication feature, which will also be beneficial.
As a user with my personal experience, I feel that IBM FlashSystem 7200 is well suited for organizations that have medium to high workloads. Compression and deduplication are some important features that are needed here. The performance of IBM FlashSystem 7200 is also great and that is a reason for recommending it to businesses. However, businesses that are at the entry level can avoid this and search for better alternatives mainly because of the high cost.
The organization of workload is amazing with this tool. With IBM FlashSystem 7200 I was able to move my database devices easily from the previous software solution that I was using in my firm. Altogether it is a great solution due to its great features.

IBM Flash System 7200 is an amazing hardware storage system that helps our organization in a very big way. The storage system is very scalable with a pay as you go model. Also, we have a lot of data security while storing files and data in the system. The flash system is also very useful when it comes to server availability because in case of an outrage, we don't have the tension of data loss.
  • AI driven management
  • Good proactive support
  • Data Resilience
  • Less pricing
  • Community version can be introduced
  • More tutorials can be given
IBM FlashSystem 7200 can be an amazing purchase for organizations looking to store large amount of data on a daily basis. The whole system has file and database protection technology which helps organizations care less about the data about fault in services or external attacks. The system is extremely well off and fault tolerant. It has the capacity to take loads and scale easily.
It is evident that IBM FlashSystem 7200 has been designed to meet the data storage requirements of organizations with midsized application workloads and constrained IT budgets. But still, the cost has a negative impact on some of the organizations because most of the organizations can't bear the costs. But, for organizations with an allocated budget and compact structure, it can be a very suitable hardware containing storage facilities.

IBM Flash System 7200 is being used in our company to streamline and uplift our business process. It is an outstanding storage repository and is used around all of our organization's IT departments. Its high performance helped us in compression and it is highly beneficial in storage optimization and it allows integration with VMware and it is perfect.
  • Its high-speed performance helps streamline our business process.
  • Its integration is astounding, most specifically with VMware.
  • It allows replication and DRP compression.
  • Its interface is quite simple with so many enormous features.
  • Its subscription rate is unfair and is highly expensive.
  • Reports should be elaborative probably with more insight and should inform about the performance.
  • Deployment of this tool is quite complex and tricky.
This is an extremely recommended tool for storage and low latency as it is a high-performance tool and it has the ability to streamline our business. It is good for all those who want to deliver the data of clients in a quick and efficient manner. But its reports are something I least like about it because I anticipated reports to be more elaborative rather than mere superficial reports.
IBM Flash System 7200 has amazing data storage and is being utilized in most of our departments as a source of data storage repository and It has expunged all of our concerns and provides us with the maximum speed and it is ideal for the midsized workloads and it is just proven.

  • The platform use the incredibly professional analytics to optimize the networking and storage.
  • Sometimes data reduction is difficult for the beginners.
  • Ongoing maintenance cost should be improve.
  • Implementation and Maintenance should be easier for the beginners.
This can grow the hybrid cloud with full flexibility. So anyone can start and scale the demands of the business. Definitely, it's easy to scale. You can easily optimize the performance disk. The platform offers professional capabilities and these can be deployed across the hybrid cloud. According to my personal experience, it's best from every side.
Definitely, the IBM FlashSystem 7200 meets the data storage requirements of different organizations. Even organizations and companies with midsized workloads can use the platform with full confidence. Because this can accelerate the business execution. This can support your business from each and every side. Even organizations can virtualize the existing storage at no additional cost.

It is primarily used by our department for keeping records of our customers and consumers of our service. It has addressed the business problem of fast retrieval of data and transfer of large data. It is mainly used for this purpose since we have to change and modify invoicing and business quite frequently, and it has sufficient features for that.
  • It is quite scalable and usually scaling up is no problem. This is especially useful when one has limited idea about how long or big the project is going to be.
  • Its automation has helped us in managing data better.
  • It is quite powerful and usually transfers data very fast with low latency.
  • Lasts long and doesn't behave unexpectedly.
  • It is quite expensive. Cost of maintenance can add up, so beware of that.
It (IBM FlashSystem 7200) is suitable for big corporations who have to process and modify a lot of data. Its cost [may be] too high and I wouldn't recommend it for smaller businesses as it can cause a significant dent in their finances. I think it is too powerful for small businesses and at that stage latency difference for cheaper alternatives won't matter much.
I would say it is more suitable with large size load and bigger corporations instead of medium-size businesses. If a medium size business uses this, it would be spending a lot of money on features and power; it can do well without and a lot on maintenance too. Therefore, I would say there are better and cheaper alternatives for midsized workloads.

Used across the entire business where we have a SAP ECC production environment running on devices connected to IBM Power Systems. Storage devices are exceptionally fast using NVMe Flash disks/arrays and are therefore achieving greater compression ratios by using on-board hardware compression accelerators. Even out read/write operations are faster than before which generally spends up a whole host of business functions.
  • Excellent support structure from IBM
  • Integration of the system with a host of midrange devices is super easy
  • GUI is intuitive and easy to navigate between models.
  • Some of the connective functionality with the IBM storage insights software is lacking.
  • IBM need to focus more specifically on their existing issues, rather than always seem to be pushing the bigger and newer versions.
It is well suited as a reliable and fast workhorse. It has a high level of integrated encryption and works well with the functionality straight out the box so well suited when you need something that works and works well quite quickly.
It is excellent. It is a clear and intuitive system that IBM liaise well with in house IT departments to ensure that costs are saved and hardware is the best options within cost. It has some truly premium features, despite it being more of a product for restricted budgets, it certainly doesn’t feel a cheaper / budget product.

The FlashSystem 7200 storage is being used as a storage repository for all the organization's information systems. The system, thanks to Flash technology and storage saving functionalities, has allowed us to streamline and accelerate different business processes that previously had latency problems, additionally and thanks to compression functionalities, it allows the ROI of the equipment to be maximized.
  • Speed.
  • Availability.
  • Storage Optimization.
  • Integration with VMware.
  • Greater capacity of compressed volumes.
  • Expand the capacity of volumes with flashcopy.
  • Advanced SAS connectivity.
In scenarios supported by IBM, the system presents great performance capacity and together with the compression functionalities, it adds storage optimization. The number of interfaces, especially the Fiber Channel, allow us to implement a large number of disk arms, which results in higher platform performance. So far I cannot find scenarios where the equipment has problems.
The team perfectly supports the requirements associated with the workloads of small and medium-sized companies, IBM's prices are perfectly adjusted to the budgets managed by these companies and also the relationship, cost - benefit, allows it to be an attractive alternative for budget scenarios. I think the storage system is perfectly suited to clients of this size.

I implemented it at another company as a storage backend for its tax core system. It is being used only by a POWER8 system.
  • DRP Compression and deduplication
  • Replication across sites
  • Flashcopies
  • Great performance
  • Insights should provide better reporting in terms of performance
  • Unable to see volume occupation from storage perspective
This storage is best suited for medium to high workloads for full allocated volumes. Compression and dedupe features will help only if there are low sets of transactions. Performance is highly affected when using global mirror if there is a high number of IOPS.
It is effective in terms of storing data if using hardware and software compression. There is far more space than a regular internal disk array. You are able to divide workloads by using different pools and have better performance when using compression.

The V7000 was the first storage we used on OnCloud and it was an essential part of the growth of the company.
When it was acquired it gave us the power and storage we needed, it had good performance and sufficient size.
  • IOPS - A lot to use.
  • Reliable.
  • Price.
  • Scalability.
  • Complex to manage.
  • Complex to deploy.
If you like the world of IBM and are used to working with them this storage works well. But it is expensive, difficult to implement and maintain. Growth is a headache and you depend on IBM and its Partners for everything.
For medium-sized organizations it is a good option, especially due to its reliability and its performance in normal workloads for these companies, even for high workloads.

IBM FlashSystem 7200 is very versatile and powerful when it comes to transferring data from one end to another and it has increased the productivity by reducing the time drastically. Well in our organization currently it is used by internal departments as it is very reliable and fast compared to others.
  • Scalable.
  • Flexible.
  • Powerful.
  • Cost is bit high.
  • Data reduction.
  • Not recommended for smaller data sets.
Well in big organizations where big data movements are quite important it is most suitable because it moves it very seamlessly which makes it more favourable. However it not recommended for smaller organization as it would be quite tricky when it comes to smaller data sets and could be bit expensive given the size of data.
Well personally I think it is designed for the midsized and bigger organizations because it is very fast when it comes to transferring however the data storage requirements are also higher in these organization and the budget provided for sometimes would not be enough but in my organization this array is quite suitable.

The IBM FlashSystem 7200 or V7000 is a solution to the issue of multi-form storage that we didn't know we needed. This storage option provides so many different advantages over others in the arena including flexibility, optimization, always-on performance, and incredible reliability. The 7200 is one of those things where you can't appreciate how amazing something truly is until you experience it for yourself. What's not to like about this?
  • Reliability.
  • Adaptability.
  • Scalability.
  • The cost.
  • Implementation.
  • Maintenance.
The FlashSystem is incredibly well suited for so many different storage applications. Whether they be all-flash or hybrid-flash, this thing performs with incredible performance. I have to say that the ultra-low latency technology of the Flashcore is something that anyone can appreciate. Being able to add in this mid-range storage solution is the easiest way to keep hybrid storage options running quickly and securely.
This is a fantastic option for midsized applications who are working with constrained IT budgets. Using the IBM Storage Insights along with the FlashSystem 7200 provides predictive analytics that allows us to optimize storage and streamline our support offerings. end to end NVMe also lets us provide super-low latency to really speed things up.

Our company purchased the Storwize v7000 in order to present storage to a development VMware environment. The workloads included very high performing (CPU / RAM / IOPS) virtual machines. The storage itself performed well, but we noticed that the efficiency was not as good as we were told it would be. Other than that fact, we were overall quite happy with the product. We still use it today but it has since been repurposed and replaced with a higher performing storage system from a different vendor. The Storwize v7000 now serves as a repository for backup and archive data while also serving as storage for a handful of shares for our development team. No issues have been reported from the team as far a performance and availability goes. Th storage admin team did mention on multiple occasions that making changes to any of the storage was a bit tricky and not intuitive.
  • Performs very well.
  • Easy to maintain.
  • Easy to install.
  • Making changes to the storage is not intuitive.
  • Setting various efficiency settings is not intuitive.
  • Documentation regarding storage settings was not clear enough.
I would recommend the Storwize v7000 for customers / colleagues that are looking for a system that serves as a repository of some kind or even as a system that will serve data to low impact / low to mid utilization environments. It meshed very well to our VMware environment and was very simple to install and setup.
The Storwize v7000 does fit the bill for midsize application workloads pretty well, but the efficiency of the system did not live up to expectations for our environment. The performance itself of the system was great and we were very pleased with the IOPS and latency statistics for our workloads.

We use IBM FlashSystem 7200 to handle some of our large storage requirements that require a significant amount of IO across several different locations. Because of our distribution requirements, we needed an off-site hybrid solution that optimizes storage and rapid access to resources.
  • Easy to Scale
  • Data Security
  • Solid Management Tools
  • Could be Priced Better
  • Admin Console UI Could be Improved
  • Support Response is Sometimes Slow
When you need a hybrid cloud solution for storing a large amount of data where you would normally rely on NVMe drives, IBM FlashSystem 7200 is perfect for mid to large-size projects. IBM's network is extremely reliable which is why we chose them for our hybrid storage needs.
The rich features of IBM FlashSystem 7200 make it an ideal choice for midsized app workloads both for internal and external applications. The price/storage is relatively affordable and the management tools make it easy to onboard for pretty much any environment.

IBM FlashSystem 7000 is one of the main storage devices of our organization. IBM FlashSystem 7000 meets our needs in terms of speed and stability in this area where data is most intensively processed and moved.
  • Provides high endurance.
  • IOPS Strength - Power
  • Really Fast Speed
  • The user could be shown on which files the deduplication or compressions were stored.
  • Cost
The most suitable scenario for IBM FlashSystem 7200 is situations where data is processed and flowed at high speed. Here, CRM DB, ERP DB are created for digital transformation processes. In further use, you can work on large data with OLAP cubes. You can even integrate your e-commerce system with the V7200 physically located in your location.
First of all, the IBM FlashSystem 7200 product has a much better infrastructure than it actually looks. For this reason, it can be used with medium-sized application workloads very easily and according to our scenarios, it does not create any bottleneck even in medium-high scenarios. For this reason, the place of this product among flash storage products should be evaluated according to the IOPS value results, not according to the series. I definitely recommend it.

IBM FlashSystem 7200 was used to simplify the most complex storage tasks of hybrid clouds. It was used by one of the departments for one of implementing hybrid cloud storage for one of their end customers. For us, simplifying those complexities of hybrid cloud storage was one of the primary business problems that was addressed by using IBM FlashSystem 7200.
  • Simplifying complexities of hybrid cloud storage
  • Consolidate and manage storage arrays as one pool
  • Reduces admin efforts in managing day to day cloud storage
  • Cost is little on higher side.
  • At times data storage and retrievals were slower.
  • Number of firmware updates can be reduced.
Consolidating and managing storage arrays as one pool. Performance is good and second to none. IBM FlashSystem enables seamless data mobility across your on-premises cloud into hybrid cloud storage. Upgrading to bigger drives was a tedious process. Managing more number of firmware updates released per year can be reduced so that it eases the admins day to day job.
IBM FlashSystem as per my observation is suitable for midsized application as it consolidate and manage storage arrays as one pool which further reduces cost. Hence saving more IT budgets for the midsized organization. It gives better performance, data protection, resiliency and availability across your hybrid cloud whatever be the size of workloads ranging from midsized to large workloads. Hence giving better performance to those midsized applications.

We are currently using IBM Storwize v7000 and it has been 10 years since first running it in my organization. It is being used across the whole organization and used to support applications across multiple branches. Yes, several times had experienced disk-related problems, but until now it can still operate smoothly and fast. The technical support provided is also very good, very responsive to solve existing problems
  • Great technical support.
  • Durability.
  • Availability.
  • No guidance for patch updating.
  • Difficult to update firmware.
  • There are some errors that cannot be solved.
If some organizations do not have flash storage, this would be a great option. It can be used for high performance transactions such as databases or kubernetes container.
It can be scaled out, so organizations don't have to be worried if they run out of capacity.

Great performance of our data. Used across the organization and specifically helps the most with apps. Addresses several problems with one powerful solution which is great. IBM sales and support teams are really top notch and help us get into an enterprise level product like this with higher end capabilities.
  • Scalable
  • Flash Array
  • Performance Disk
  • Cost
  • Smaller device
  • Snapshot space
The storage is extremely fast and delivers excellent performance within our apps. The support is top notch which is great for getting implemented all the way throughout the process. Have found it is also incredibly reliable and stable to go along with the speed. The only scenario not getting it is having too small of a budget to make this a reality.
We believe it is perfectly effective. As mentioned earlier this beast can work very fast, can scale to nearly whatever you may need, and comes with reliability that almost haven't seen before. Software releases fix anything that you may currently be concerned with so therefore making any problems had, quickly and efficiently resolved.

Our organization is using IBM FlashSystem 7200 as a rapid data delivery server. Just like the FlashSystem 5000 (which was also used by our organization), it assists with issues such as CDN speed and registrar data which we rely on as a SaaS company. It addresses many problems regarding data.
  • Very scalable
  • Interface is relatively easy to get a hang of
  • Customer support was not very good
  • Specifically can only be used for data delivery, midrange
IBM FlashSystem 7200 is well suited for storage and low latency data delivery workloads. Anything outside that which requires additional processing does not handle very well, which makes sense since it is designed for a single task. Just like its brother, IBM FlashSystem 5000, it is helpful in scenarios where the customer needs their data quickly and efficiently.
As a small company with a broad reach, we did not require too much power but we needed something that could fit our requirements. IBM FlashSystem 7200 was able to fit the bill, and it worked fine for our use cases. It is pretty effective with midsized workloads, but we never tested it on anything further (since we load balanced between the FlashSystem 5000 as well).

We use this for a high-performance record-keeping system that is highly transactional. Queries need to be resolved in milliseconds and in many cases require computations involving complex calculations and large data sets. We were able to move our database devices over to the FlashSystem 7200 storage which greatly improved the performance over traditional SAN storage. This was by far our best and easiest performance gain. We are using this within our department.
  • High performance
  • Low latency
  • Easy to present storage
  • Data storage
  • Easier to use encryption.
These are great storage devices that have great scale-out. They support high-performance real-time transaction processing systems. Also, they support complex query calculations across large data sets. I think any system that has SLAs requiring quick response times could benefit from this type of storage solution. Beats traditional SAN hands down. Improves performance of some transactions by two orders of magnitude over our previous traditional SAN storage array.
Our application is from a medium-sized group within the enterprise and easily fits into our budget. It has improved performance, reduced costs from our previous storage and services our nearly 3.5M customers. Some transaction performance has increased 100 fold. Some even more. Many transactions now appear to be instantaneous.

IBM FlashSystem 7200 is being used company-wide at all locations including remote sites. Storage management is being Managed by this system efficiently. When there is more than one cloud used in the organization it is the most preferred solution for storage solutions. Further, it is from IBM, the most trusted company.
  • Storage management
  • More than one cloud environment
  • Scalable
  • Cost
  • Others are ok and manageable; definitely it is a good system.
IBM FlashSystem 7200 is well suited for large to mid-sized enterprises for storage solutions. But it may not be suitable for the small companies, as the cost will be more and they may not prefer as the multi clouds may not be used. Small companies may not have large data storage requirements and management.
IBM FlashSystem 7200 definitely helps the mid-level companies that are having smaller data management compared to big enterprises having offices and clients worldwide. 7200 manages the data very well. There are other systems available but IBM is a trusted name and companies have good faith in their systems and software. When data is Managed efficiently the mid-sized companies benefits as human error is almost nil.
