IBM Kubernetes Service Pre-built Services

We haven't had any projects on the Watson, rhus it's not a good idea for me to give a review on that aspect. In regard to the blockchain applications, it works like a charm.

IBM Kubernetes Service Pre-built Services

Actually we indeed hope to try them. But it's not easy to understand the difference between these services. We can't tell what it's used for only with their names. It's not similar to the tools we've used before in GCP or AWS.

IBM Kubernetes Service Pre-built Services

IBM Cloud Kubernetes without access to additional services and resources such as databases, storage, authentication, identity and security systems is just a container box that provides networking, memory, and processing.

A well-designed cloud application/service is designed to implement the most appropriate services and resources. Services such as Watson for AI, NLP and analytics, App ID for authentication, managed database service, object storage and more are vital for a truly useful system.

IBM Kubernetes Service Pre-built Services

Allowing the use of third-party services is a good thing since most enterprises can mix and match solutions. In our case, we might need app A to interact with the Watson service, that's possible because IKS has integration for it without doing anything, however, there must be quality control when it comes to add-ons since not all of them are beneficial in Kubernetes' scope.

IBM Kubernetes Service Pre-built Services

We have used some application of IoT or analytics, but generally we develop our own services. In any case, it is a great advantage that it has so many services by default for reuse.
