Why LinuxONE is the One
We are using the platform to support OLTP database workloads across horizontally scaled systems.
- Great security, if you configure things correctly
- Performance per instance is above average if you compare to commodity x86
- Standard templates for targeted security frameworks to assist with deployment
- Positive increase in system uptime
LinuxONE has better scalability and price/performance metrics.

IBM Linux ONE Review
IBM LinuxOne addresses the problem of providing continuous uptime and resiliency running in multiple data centers. Our business users had a need to have continuous server availability, and also expected us to scale where possible. We have implanted this in multiple data centers. We purchased services from IBM, to help with this effort.
- Robust
- Reslient
- Scalable
- Cost efficient
- Excellent support staff
- We had some milestones we did not meet due to technical issues, we had to get those escalated and finally got them resolved.
- Customer satisfaction from business units
- TCOA cost reduction
- Reduced maintenance cost
