Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I am a manufacturing/production engineer in our organisation. IBM Maximo Application Suite software is my daily companion. The software supports asset management. Using the software, we can monitor and optimize our system's performance and conduct predictive maintenance to prevent sudden downtime. The software is robust and cost-effective.

Pros

The software is very effective in trend analysis and downtime tracking.
IBM Maximo Application Suite is well suited in preventive maintenance and predictive maintenance.
Ease of use and seamless ingestion with our other tools, such as Mpower, Omino, and Maximal.

Cons

The software is available only in three languages: English, Portuguese, and Spanish. This limits its implementation.
Poor customer care services. The software has very unresponsive live support service providers. I prefer contacting them online.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

IBM Maximo Application Suite is our enterprise management tool, where for our client, we use it to manage the lifecycle of an asset or an item, starting from creation to maintenance until becoming scrap. We will store all the information in our application. Using this, we will do preventive and predictive maintenance of the item. Also, we can monitor the health of the item regularly and keep track of inventory orders. If more items are needed via the reorder process we can order them. Also, we can do inventory spare parts management in IBM Maximo Application Suite. Also it has the feature of mobile application which is very useful for onfield technicians. Overall it's a complete package starting from creation till the scrapping of item or asset data will be stored also maintaining of these items or assets are done via IBM Maximo Application Suite.

It's very useful for facility management where maintenance is required. Assets mangement reliability maintenance is the basic solution this tools provide.
The business problem this product address is basically the maintenance and tracking of assets, each asset is tracked and tagged based on their locations and maintenance can be done based on the schedules. It also provides great insights on the dashboard.

Work orders — we use them to report and track issues. The database maintains a history of submissions and includes contact information so the appropriate personnel can be reached for troubleshooting or to gather additional information on work orders.
