IBM Security MaaS360 with Watson has been a great relief for us, from implementation to the present, as the protection it provides for our mobile devices and computers is reassuring. The learning curve is minimal; we are protected by the cybersecurity of this software. It can be used on any operating system, which extends the range of security. Our data is completely protected and without slowing down our devices or detecting false positives.
  • I like that it reduces the risks of information leaks since, by having all our devices protected, we can handle the information without any risk.
  • I can customize it to our convenience and needs; it adapts to our operating systems and different computers and mobile devices.
  • Great protection against web threats with a great positive impact on our endpoints.

A totally reliable software, since it integrates very well with different mobile devices and computers and with different operating systems, the security breadth is very good, and the protection and management of data guarantee peace of mind in all our departments.

It has very easy-to-apply features; although I was not part of the implementation process, I was able to confirm that it was carried out with great efficiency since we have not had any problems at any time; it is software with a simple user interface; and it has a technical support team with optimal response to our questions.

We integrate IBM Security MaaS360 with Watson across the company, we use it to protect our devices, threat neutralization is very fast, it's deployed across our entire IT infrastructure, but only a few of us use it directly, managing our devices is faster.

In the organization, since the implementation of this powerful tool, everything is in its maximum protection, everything works successfully. Devices are kept safe at all times from threats that may constantly exist with very bad intentions, both mobile and desktop. That is why everything in the company works successfully with IBM Securyti Mass 360 with Watson, confidently in all the management of the devices of each one of the departments. There is also a first class technical service that meets the requirements of each client and in terms of implementation is simple, not much extra help is needed to achieve the service.

Great capacity for centralization and control of each device, whether mobile or desktop, existing in each of the company's departments. The protection is completely reliable, so we will be free from those malicious threats that exist on the networks. It must be taken into account that protection in the organization is the most important thing, so we avoid a lot of wasted time that can be used for business production. IBM Securyti MaaS with Watson, you also have top-of-the-line features for handling missing files, it crashes with great ease.

Highly recommended if you want to maintain control and full protection of each of the organization's devices. This tool is essential, being your company large or medium-sized, so it will keep the devices protected from any threat that may arise for the total lack of control of the business future. It is easy to use and you do not need to be an expert to install it; Secondly. It has a great technical service that always attends when you need it.

IBM Security MaaS360 is used to manage our mobile device fleet of iPhone and iPad devices. It has helped with controlling what apps are used and to manage users’ preferences as well as solve simple issues and to better track and manage our fleet of devices. It ties in with our DEP ( device enrolment plan ) and works as a one-stop MDM (mobile device management) system. It also allows us to see where all devices are and manage the Apple IDs of our users and we can also wipe out information from the device to help secure intellectual property. We can reset users screen lock passcodes and deploy apps to individual devices or to all devices in the fleet.

This product has helped me find lost mobile devices and has helped protect our corporate intellectual property as well as making it easier to support our 700 users in our Canada manufacturing facilities. We are better able to manage our fleet of devices and manage the apps that are being used on these devices as well as which apps are being used. We can easily wipe out a device if someone resigns and to better protect information. It makes it easier to deploy a completely configured mobile device to remote users and supports Apple, Android or BYOD. Once configured correctly this product integrates seamlessly with Apple to better manage off the shelf apps or custom applications. This product has made my life working with managing two different corporate entities and their divisions all across Canada with relative ease and leaves me more time to work on other issues. And reports are simple and customizable making it simple to see and understand and utilize the information to make better informed decisions.

It has been very productive in managing our fleet of mobile devices spread across Canada and was easy to use and implement with little effort and easy to maintain once configured and connected to all devices. The interface being web-based makes it simple and convenient to support our users from anywhere. With a simple and intuitive and easy to understand and use makes this a no-brainer for supporting your mobile device fleet for any small or medium or large corporations. The one I support right now has a Canada fleet of over 300 devices spread across the country and has made it easy to support remotely.
Having this product integrated with Apple and your device vendor makes it simple to manage and deploy devices all across the country with little or no effort from your IT department since once configured and setup correctly everything works seamlessly and will improve the productivity of your IT department. Deployment of apps and protection of intellectual property is easily managed from a simple web interface.
Admins there are only 6 but I am the only real administrator of this product for a user base of over 300 across Canada. I use it to manage devices and protect information and intellectual property as well as support user problems and issues and for easy deployment to all remote users across Canada and supply management with reporting and invaluable decision-making information.

We are both a mobility reseller and a security consultancy for a large number of organizations. Specific to security, our customers have a wide list of mobile device usage requirements which present a vast array of security concerns as it relates to the protection of IP, Regulatory compliance, and control of business-focused usage during the work day.
As such, it is our job to present resolutions to these challenges, which are addressed both by written policy and the implementation of an MDM solution.

There are very few scenarios where the solution is less suited. However, if an organization is device-specific with just iOS Devices, there are other less complex solutions available if the said organization has basic security requirements.
Any organization looking for a well-organized granular solution will find IBM Security MaaS360 with Watson to be the perfect fit. Having worked for a different MDM Vendor in the past, it is very clear that this solution not only provides the levels of granularity needed to address numerous security requirements, the level and quality of support behind the curtain are outstanding.

There is a fundamental absolute when assessing the on-boarding of an MDM. There must be a complete 100% commitment to the ongoing learning process required to understand the nuances of the solution. As mobile technology evolves, so does any MDM solution. It is vital any IT person supporting this, or any MDM must be fully vested in ongoing learning and development of skill sets in order to properly support the solution in addition to customers using the solution if applicable.
There really is no simple deployment of an MDM, EVER. However, in my experience, having deployed thousands of MDM installs, if proper preparation prior to the actual deployment is completed, IBM Security MaaS360 with Watson is, in fact, quite simple to deploy. The underlying requirement is to ensure you have a solid understanding of IBM Security MaaS360 with Watson in addition to related technology like iOS, Android, KNOX, and Apple Business Manager.
We all know the big guys are VMWare WorkSpace 1, SOTI, Mobile Iron, and Intune. There are hundreds of other MDM solutions apart from the latter. While most solutions are very comparable in functionality AND all share the same technology in order to function, the real measurable is the availability of support and ongoing education resources. These are vital for both on-boarding and then ongoing management of the solution.
Having been involved in this industry for almost 18 years, it is vitally clear IBM and the IBM Security MaaS360 with Watson solution are at the top of the list for available technical support and ongoing education. As an IBM Security Champion, I have experienced the best and the worst with about 25 MDM solutions, including IBM Security MaaS360 with Watson. For me, it has been a no-brainer selecting IBM Security MaaS360 with Watson for these reasons.

We have individuals in our organization with years of technical and support experience with MDM solutions. The single most important factor in selecting MaaS360, is access to technical support. IBM has set themselves apart from the other major solutions by maintaining a dedicated support, sales and development team. The others have simply absorbed their MDM solutions into their products suite which effectively makes the MDM support simply another sku in the list.

The resources made available to me by IBM were Stellar. These resources remain available today and are extremely important as technology changes.
Training is always important but hands on worked for me too. Whenever I hit a roadblock I could easily get answers using the IBM technical resources I have access to.
Configuration is complex but all MDM's are the same. IF you understand that every organization has very different requirements and expectations of what an MDM solution needs to provide, functionality is vast. The secret is to have a game plan, know what you need MaaS360 to do and learn the workflows. These are quite easy once you understand them and are typically static compared to other Solutions.

There is a recent serious issue where Microsoft has begun to deprecate Basic Authentication for EAS at M365 installs. This has resulted in many of our customers losing access to email on their mobile devices.
IBM has been stellar in helping us assist our panicking customers to address the issue quickly even though the issues are out of scope as it relates to the mdm solution.
Having years of experience with MDM and experiencing the evolution of the granularity of the functionality MDM's have had to evolve, no MDM is ever "easy" to use. MaaS360 rises to the top however, because zero day changes are always ahead of the competition. A huge benefit with MaaS360 and IBM's approach to supporting these changes is that they seldom change configuration work flows. Competing Vendors always arbitrarily change workflows which requires a significnat ongoing learning curve in order to maintain technical competence.
