While the interface can be slightly better, this tool has been very helpful from a data analysis perspective which can save a lot of time and it also allows us to input, manage, and organize data efficiently. From an organization impact, as it requires less coding knowledge, it is easy to train employees with no coding knowledge which results in cost savings and better efficiency

A good number of my students have done their agricultural-based survey research work using IBM SPSS Statistics.
They used a Likert scale in their questionnaire and input data into IBM SPSS Statistics. They ran many analyses based on their methodology very quickly, and they got excellent results. As a supervisor of that student, I was also happy with that result, and it will be helpful for both of us for further decision-making.

The prediction capability offered by the product is profitable and more reliable on business production enhancement and services quality improvement and also effective services monitoring.

The main advantages obtained from the use of IBM SPSS Statitics are the time savings in compiling reports of the data generated by the different departments and mainly the ease of decision making thanks to the information provided by the tool, both at the level of workers and of managers or senior officials.

Since I had to use numerous questionnaires for data collection for my research project, it is very simple and fast for data entry in IBM SPSS Statistics to get maximum output very quickly. Questionnaires using the Likert scale and data entry through IBM SPSS Statistics for data analysis are so smooth for researchers. It was an amazing experience to use IBM SPSS Statistics for agricultural business-related data analysis.

In general, IBM SPSS Statistics is useful in our organisation, because it easily enables a range of statistical procedures and tests to be performed. It is particularly suitable for our team members who only used SPSS at university (i.e., who have no coding experience), who are very familiar and comfortable with the software. Being able to use SPSS for data analysis is a great support for our analytical efficiency and quality.

However, SPSS isn't suitable for every type of data analysis we do. Sometimes we're working with incredibly large datasets that SPSS struggles with, and sometimes we need to perform bespoke statistical tests or procedures that aren't accommodated within SPSS. For this reason, we also use different software (R or Python) just as much as we use SPSS, if not more. It's a little bit inefficient to have different software for the same sets of tasks, so I anticipate we will move away from SPSS in the future.

Using SPSS has cut down on the amount of time spent writing queries, saving me several hours each month. Reporting efficiency and accuracy across my team has increased exponentially, as the no code SPSS interface leaves less room for error.

We use it heavily for regression analysis given to co-op students to use as this has been an easy transition from their academic coursework. And used for predictive modeling.

It actually increased overall productivity, as hassle in reduces and time for statistical analysis decreased with ready-made modules.

Would be safe to say that IBM SPSS has cut our data analysis time by half, it has enabled us to take strategic decisions via predictive analysis.

It is not necessarily used in an operational capacity. But it is efficient, as stated, in working with students and novices.

SPSS has positively impacted our organization by allowing us to build our automated analysis and reporting systems. We have millions of lines of syntax that takes data from hundreds of different formats and creates one centralized data warehouse. Years ago, SPSS was the only software package that allowed us to read very specific data formats that others could not.

We wouldn't be able to operate without IBM SPSS. The alternative would be viewing and analyzing the raw data in [Microsoft] Excel, which would add a significant amount of time and headache to our operations. It's hard to say exactly how much time and efficiency it saves because it's a tool I've used my entire career and initially learned in college, so I've never known what it's like to not have this tool.

It is a great tool to assist our companies online platform with advanced analytics. It saves time for many processes that were previously done in Excel and adds in value from new deliverables that were not an option for us before. Our clients have been very pleased with the added value and increased their spend with us.

The major benefit of using IBM SPSS Statistics is it saves so much time to do complex analyses. Also, with the wide range of graphs and charts, we were able to use the most opt charts/graphs to present the data. Also, while collaborating with others, the efficiency remains the same without any drop.

It doesn't play into those categories. If it does it would be the customer churn, due to the not as nice graphs / tables. It maybe could also have a better way to collaborate within the tool between researchers, that would be a time saving, but this feature is missing in it's current version.

SPSS has impacted our organization and my work as a UX Researcher. It saves time by streamlining data analysis processes, allowing us to focus on deriving actionable insights. SPSS also helps identify trends and pain points among users, guiding iterative design improvements. Additionally, through analysis of customer feedback, it helps uncover pain points to reduce churn and increase user retention.

IBM SPS statistics has definitely made a significant impact on my ability to perform data analyses. Unlike another statistical package, such as SAS, the learning curve for SPSS is minimal. Users don't necessarily need to know programming skills to perform statistical analysis with SPSS, so it would be a time saver for users with little or no programming background.

It reduce the time which we need for data analysis. Its automated features and statistical algorithms helps us to do complex analyses accurately than the traditional method. Because of this it helps us in saving a lot of time. Also it helped with quality of data as compare to the traditional way which we used earlier

Operation impact has been reduced by predictive analysis from data in IBM SPSS Statistics. Data returns to customers quicker and more accurate. It allows us to increase workflow while reducing the time it takes to complete analysis. Our ability to increase IBM SPSS Statistics across the sectors has saved countless hours for our employees.

Other than preparing students for the world of work or for advanced studies where something IBM SPSS Statistics will be needed, handling complex data analysis to support administrative decisions is the primary area where IBM SPSS Statistics shines. For example, the ability to conduct with ease gap analysis is significant. Although this is possible within a spreadsheet like Excel, IBM SPSS Statistics makes this process simple. The ability to export tables and graphs is into Microsoft Word is really helpful.

OK, when I started consulting on my own, I downloaded R and started working with it. But my experience with R was limited to a one-week course and didn't cover everything. Trying to figure out what packages to download and so on was a real burden on my time, and IBM SPSS Statistics 15 version I had purchased once demanded a CD ROM my computer no longer has. When I moved to the subscription version in 2021, suddenly it was all easy again and I saved a lot of time! I kept up with the subscription even when the project ended in case I needed to re-run something for a publication or presentation. Mostly I didn't use it after completing that project. However, when a new project came along in 2023, I immediately went to IBM SPSS Statistics when I had the data available, but something had changed along the way and my monthly receipts were not coming in, etc. I also had to add on features I had previously used with the subscription, which added to my cost.

However, IBM SPSS Statistics has a time savings impact. But, it is slow while handling the big data, more than 4 GB or 10 GB. So, it is wise to use IBM SPSS Statistics for small data sets, as the user interface sometimes breaks down while using big data. Also, one can’t handle multi-data files in one window

IBM SPSS does in fact save time in comparison to other statistics softwares. This is because they offer "point and click" and advanced syntax that more easily allows for replication of findings. In essence, [IBM] SPSS allows us to save time in the long run because it allows us to easily copy previous syntax and make adjustments/reuse it in the future.
