I will say that SPSS has improved our decision-making process and opened us up to new opportunities. After exploring the power of other statistical packages, it was a very easy decision-making process to move away from SPSS actively. Its antiquated methods led us to search for and identify other opportunities that have significant advantages and are cheaper.

PSS is more straight forward to use in comparison to its competitors, but it is more expensive. Open source alternatives such as R are great, but require knowledge in traditional code such as Python. IBM SPSS Statistics is more beginner friendly than R. Use IBM SPSS Statistics if you can afford it.
