Large-scale production databases with a high workload are best suited for the IBM FlashSystem 7200. We've been utilizing this product for the past six months, and our client has accomplished their business objectives. We may now divide the workloads using a number of pools. This program provides a great repository in addition to quick performance and data compression.

The hybrid solution benefits from the high performance of the IBM Flash System 7200. Due to business requirements and security, we are only using on-premises solutions. Our client benefits from the hybrid solution.

It has minimal latency because it is a high-performance tool that can help us streamline our operations. It's ideal for anyone who needs to get client data to them quickly and efficiently. However, its reports are the aspect of it that I dislike the least, because I expected reports to be more detailed rather than superficial.

After replacing a 14u Gen1 V5000 system containing 15K spinning disks with a FS5200 containing 9.6TB Flashcore Modules, performance was such an improvement that it cut 12 hours off of the nightly full system backups. The 2.2/1 compression is just an added bonus.

We upgraded from V9000 to IMB FlashSystem and didn't expect to see a significant improvement. It turns out there are a lot of improvements, not just a slight boost in performance. The compression is the biggest improvement. Another great feature is the ability to add additional storage without downtime.

When performing benchmark tests with analytics and ETL software such as Data Stage, Informatica, SAS, and Python, the runtimes of the jobs have drastically decreased. Recent tests show a 41% reduction in execution time. Across many analysts, this is a drastic increase in their abilities as they optimize their workloads. This removal of latency also frees up server workloads, helping organizations with server uptime and less crashes.
