As a photographer I use IDrive Online Backup and Object Storage e2 as a safe and reliable backup storage and as a replacement for my local network drives as the data volume grows constantly and physical drives reach their limit and also not the most secure option. iDrive pricing for Personal use was unbeatable for the size I needed and based on market reviews I decided to try it out. With TBs of Client files (both processed and raw) I needed to ensure my data can always be automatically backed up and restored in no time. IDrive Online Backup and Object Storage e2 makes a full backup for new files and incremental backup for changes. I can restore my files to any device and I can use Cloud Drive as a solution to sync only the files needed for continuous access.

I switched to IDrive Online Backup and Object Storage e2
I just switched from Carbonite to IDrive Online Backup and Object Storage e2. I found IDrive Online Backup and Object Storage e2 to be much faster and easier to use. The ability to schedule daily backups is great. Overall a great price and great choice.

I use IDrive Online Backup and Object Storage e2 to backup my videos for my YouTube channel. The process is easy to use. I like how it quickly checks what has already been backed up before the next backup. I also like that I can download my videos for editing directly from the site so I don't need to use my external hard drive. I have the app on my phone as well which allows me to check what clips are online and I can watch them online too. I love that I can easily share the link with others to specific folders so they can download. I can view the clips on the phone app but not on my laptop.
After researching different vendors for a reliable and cost effective backup solution for my new Synology NAS, I chose IDrive Online Backup and Object Storage e2 due to their price point and multi-device backup options. The setup to backup all my photo's, movies and data to IDrive Online Backup and Object Storage e2 was a breeze and now scheduled backups continue to ensure my business and family data is never lost. Additionally I take periodics snapshots of my laptop and backup my family photo's from our mobile phones using their apps which are easy to setup and use. Overall my experience of IDrive Online Backup and Object Storage e2 has been very good and it performs to what I needed to ensure all my data is safe and secure and would recommend IDrive Online Backup and Object Storage e2 as a good alround backup solution.

Great solution for small business offsite backup
We have a small business but still have needs for off-site storage. We were using another company for years but their service has been failing. We have a relatively small amount of data to store so we did not need a huge space, nor complications of one account for each computer.

Great service for a great price!
Currently no other online storage offers the price point and the size of storage that meets the needs of my use. With the 5 TB limit for personal use this works great for me. As a new user the interface for windows is easy enough to understand and any troubleshooting is quick thanks to the online support and many tutorials. So far I have not encountered many issues and have found the service reliable and suiting of my needs.

Nice Product and Great Price
I'm mostly using the cloud drive. I was looking for a reliable service that could give me a reliable service with enough storage space and the right price. IDrive Online Backup and Object Storage service was the best I could find. I simply back up my stuff on a cloud drive and I have access from anywhere in the world. It also lets you back up your phone and simply whatever you have and it can be accessible on the network.
I luv the easy gui. Works well. Price good as I always find a way to take advantage of s better price every year. Cust service is responsive. Only problem I've noticed is when trying to restore my backup back to my PC, the download speed was super slow and also would fail towards the beginning of the process. I have since purchased a diff external storage hard disk drive which vastly improved the speed though it is still too slow. At least I was able to get my 960GB backup restore downloaded back to my new ext. HDD.

IDrive is the best online backup solution I've found
IDrive helps me to keep an online backup of my important files, and syncs to my on-site server automatically so I don't have to think about it. It means that I have complete redundancy for my data and never have to worry about losing anything. It all works seamlessly to backup overnight so I never have to intervene in the backup process.

IDrive is a cost effective solution to offsite storage
Offsite storage and disaster recovery solution for raw files and databases.
While I would love to use iIDrive Online Backup and Object Storage, I have not been able to do a complete backup since I bought the product. I called tech support multiple times and they finally escalated the issue. It's been a month and despite constant asking for an update, they have done nothing. They just keep telling me that they are working on it. The most important file for me to backup is my Outlook .pst file and it will not work. It's only 4GB. At this point, I have to go elsewhere because I want that file backed up.

IDrive is a fine backup application
I am an amateur photographer and would like to store my photos safely. I have a NAS but would also like secure online storage. I chose IDrive for this and I think it is an excellent solution at a reasonable cost. The program and apps work well and quickly. I can recommend it to anyone who wants to secure large amounts of data via the cloud.

Pros and Cons of iDrive
The goal is to backup all ongoing work on a constant basis, to avoid loss due to technical problems and man made errors, to facilitate online exchange and communication. iDrive is a simple, efficient and secure tool, easy to understand and to handle. Encryption is good, speed is missing if you have huge data to upload. The downside is the potential cost if you go over the plan quota. Customer service is fast and efficient. So far we are all very satisfied.
I use IDrive Online Backup and Object Storage to daily backup all of my business and personal files. I like to have the ability to find old files that might have been accidentally deleted. The backup is easy to set up and implement. The security of knowing my files are safe is very important to me.

Keep Your Head in the iDrive Cloud
I use it as a cloud based synched storage so that I can access creative files on a any number of devices. iDrive has solved the issue of Adobe Creative Cloud discontinuing cloud synch for it's storage. I rely heavily (almost daily) on having creative assets available to use when I need them. I am also looking at a robust and secure platform for a backup.

Great, stable backup software for my NAS
Being within media production I generate a lot data, I backup locally to a Synology NAS but needed to have an offsite backup solution in place, having run out of space on Google Workspace and not having the option to upgrade my storage there without significant cost I decided to move my backup to IDrive Online Backup and Object Storage. It took 3 or 4 days to back up the first time, which is completely understandable. Now it's in place it backs up my data twice a day and gives me peace of mind knowing that my backup strategy is solid. It's just been running happily in the background ever since the initial installation (which was easy, they have an app for Synology). Easy, works great, can access anywhere, they have phone apps and desktop apps... Very good would recommend.
