IFS Cloud to Improve your Business processes
I am using IFS Cloud in my organization to consult and support the industrial companies and their who use IFS Cloud as their Asset Management solution. To implement their project-based manufacturing business process, certain modules in IFS Cloud were implemented, and mapped with the processes. The use case mainly was the manufacturing, procurement, selling and maintaining of asset-type products.
- Integration with other third-party application is easy and reliable
- Product documentation is easy to follow for the new users
- Web-based product
- Rich look of user experience of the web-based interface
- Some areas like HR and Payroll are not fully-suited within the solution
- Error and issue handling/debugging is difficult

- Reduced the time taken for the users to prepare and generate reports since most are automatic with IFS Cloud
- Increased the reliability and visibility of the inventory of the products from procurement of raw materials through the manufacturing of final product to delivering to customer's place
- Took a considerable time configuring the roles and access of the users while implementation
User documentation of IFS Cloud is very well organized, and easy to follow. So, the time taken for the key business users to be trained is comparatively less. The integration with other well-suited third-party applications for HR and Payroll has been standardized and easy to setup, because of the REST APIs.
