Individual web portal accounts for students and parents are included with certain subscriptions at no additional cost.

Their free subscription is an online gradebook for individual teachers that provides a comprehensive set of features that include grade, attendance, and behavior tracking, custom report generation and distribution, and an array of student / parent communication features including student and parent web portals, document sharing, event calendar, bulletin board, teacher blog, daily lesson log, and student assignment submissions.

For schools and districts, the iGradePlus enterprise SMS is a full-featured school management system that provides each teacher and administrator at the school system with their own account that plugs into a subscription's central data repository. Additionally, every student and parent are provided with their own web portal account.

Pros
  • The best part was being able to excuse students from an assignment
  • It lets you look for assignments by category, so there are less to look through.
  • The way to print out a grade report works well.
  • There are good instructions for the way to use the program.
Cons
  • The student list includes all the students and there doesn't seem to be a way to keep a search to just one class of students.
  • Maybe there should be a warning when you first enter grades on an assignment, when you try to do something else, that you haven't saved that assignment yet and it will be lost if you do that other thing.
