ImmiTranslate

ImmiTranslate offers certified translation services and a translation API for documents and credentials, for use by law firms and businesses for notarized documents. The user can upload images or documents from a computer or mobile device and select needed options. The translation is carried, made available for review, and finally certified for use.

A certified translation is a document that must be a literal translation — word-for-word. A certified translation cannot be interpretive or alter any content of the source document, even if such content is incorrect. The translator cannot add any material to the source document either, as they must accurately represent the source material. This allows the receiver of the translation to have confidence that the translation is entirely accurate of the original document.

The most common use-cases for certified translations are for legal, medical, academic, and financial purposes. Translated documents presented to government agencies, federal and state courts, and local municipalities often require a certified translation as a way to ensure that the translation is valid.
