We used Impartner PRM as our partner portal for our channel partners around the globe. It is both a resource hub, an activity tracker, and a partner manager. We were able to quickly, efficiently and effectively distribute resources to our partners around the globe. Overall it was a huge success.

Impartner PRM is well suited for channel programs of all sizes! It helped us grow from 50 partners to hundreds and could support thousands as well. We found it wasn't great for managing our email communications though.

Our primary use of Impartner was for deal registration and for a good way for our partners to gain access to marketing material. There were other things we utilized liked the training, and custom data sheets.

  • They show you this awesome demo environment and then you realize once you purchase the tool how much it takes to get that. At least one web designer, help from marketing, and at least a few months of dedicated work

If you are looking for a really good solution for deal registration, Impartner does a great job. Some of the things we did were very straightforward. The backend was very slick and had a lot of advanced features. It takes a lot of dedication to understand the tool. It isn’t what I would call drag and drop. My least favorite part of the tool was dealing with their director of sales. In my experience, he was really unpleasant and was mad that his team was spending time on a section of the training that his team had screwed up. When he told us we owed more money because of the extra time and I explained the situation, in my opinion, he became a bully.

ImpartnerPRM is the platform on which our partner portal is built. We primarily use it for deal registration. However, we also use it as a repository for sales & marketing assets and information on marketing campaigns. We utilize the Marketing View function to send communications to our partners.

  • Simple, clean design
  • Extensive library of training videos available
  • The tool is not very intuitive
  • Feel like there are many opportunities for increasing the ability to automate certain processes in the tool
  • Need templates for creating new pages more easily
I have worked with many other PRM platforms. ImpartnerPRM is in the middle of the pack. There is still a lot of opportunity for making the platform more intuitive and automating some of the processes. However, it is better than some of the others that I have used in terms of there being better continuity between the PRM and marketing functions.

We used Impartner as a partner portal, allowing resellers to submit deal registrations that we can then process within our Salesforce instance. We integrated it with Salesforce and were easily able to process deal registrations and build our channel business quickly and easily. Our channel business went from near zero to nearly half of all our business

  • Allows logging in as reseller users which makes testing and troubleshooting easy
  • Support from the Impartner team was really useful
  • The UI and portal builder is a little dated, could use an update
  • It's somewhat limited in what it can do, would like to see additional features
Impartner is great for smaller channel businesses and basic partner portals. It can be easy to scale and build something that works for a more mature business, but the simple features and basic functionality can be beaten when looking at other options, like a Salesforce portal. With a larger channel business, it may make more sense to look at other options, but for a channel business that is less strong, Impartner is the way to go

We use TreeHouse Interactive Marketing View in sales and new customer acquisitions. It has given us a tool to centralize our customer programs and to manage our new show data. Previously we had teams each using their own selected software with their own selected workflows. This led to terrible, terrible cross department compatibility. It also provided a host of problems when hiring new team members. When we made the switch to TreeHouse Interactive Marketing View we made it over the entire department. This has provided us with one powerful tool that everyone in the department was familiar with and could use.

TreeHouse Interactive Marketing View is well suited when there is a whole team that needs to work together quickly. When the team is of five or less the overhead of the system is a little much to warrant use.

My organization wants to create a needs based portal system for all of our partners simultaneously and in a customized fashion. Treehouse/impartner is a leading competitor for this.

Treehouse is especially suited for multi-partner scenarios and scenarios where high adaptability and speed of implementation are key.
