Great Program For Estimating.
We use InEight for creating and reviewing construction estimates. It works very well for us. Makes it easy for multiple users in different areas and locations to work together. Provides easy storage of information and reports for analysis. Having a library full of resources makes the creation of repeated items simple.

- The cost of the software has been worth it for what we use it for.
- There's a learning curve at the beginning but after you're comfortable it is worth it.
We needed estimating software that can be used by multiple parties and where multiple parties can have the same file open and work on it at the same time. This has worked for us.

Ineight gets it done
We use Ineight for project estimating and management. It helps us increase our ability to bid the large volume of projects we need in order to keep our backlog at optimum levels. We have around 25 users.
- Organize quotes
- Accurately cost out bids
- Save time
- We do not use the search engine since it was last modified. It is no longer user friendly.
- We used to like the way we could change the position of line items. The function has been changed to where it is not user friendly anymore.
- The "Save" and "Delete" options are right next to each other. I have been after Ineight to change these for a long time but they have not.

We went from a $5,000,000.00 to a $60,000,000.00 Company in the last fifteen years and part of the reason for our growth was the capabilities provided by going from an employee-created Excel estimating sheet to the Ineight Estimating system. It took five estimators to bid enough work on the Excel sheet to get our $5,000,000.00 backlog and we now have only one additional estimator and are able to bid enough work using Ineight to achieve our current $60,000,000.00 backlog.

InEight Software Review
InEight is used primarily as an Estimating tool to compile all quantities and costs required for projects or estimates. Allows multiple users to provide input into the estimate at the same time, is cloud based so can be accessed virtually anywhere, and provides a costing database that can be used in real time to compile estimated costs.

Hands down the best construction cradle to grave platform.
JWF is in the heavy civil construction market specializing in large diameter underground utilities, transportation, industrial treatment, trenchless, and port facilities. InEight is used daily for the cost estimating and feasibility analysis of hard bid and alternative delivery projects ranging from $1 million to $400 million. With InEight, JWF can easily coordinate multiple users in different locations throughout the world to review, estimate and complete a complex bid, all while maintaining a database that is uniform with a real-time review of the changes. It also provides the flexibility to conform to less robust platforms (Sage/Timberline, HeavyBid).

- Customizable ribbons to provide an efficient use of the software.
- Multiple layers/dependents to allow for an extreme drill down of the work and the ability to roll up to a more useful level for upper management review.
- You can bid the work as you would build it, in detail.

- Better training of users and continuing education.
- Links to plan sheets for CBS lines for reference.
- Ability to have pdf link in assemblies for basis of assembly.

- Better tax structure to allow certain line items or resources to be taxed in an estimate. Washington state uses a very complex tax structure that can be daunting to cover taxes on mixed projects for first-time users.
