In this users section here you can see which users are configured and you have the ability to suspend a user. If you want to edit or add users, you need to go to the Organization section, then click on another user section there, which then gives you the ability to edit or add users.
  • It's not a major problem, but it's an example of one of many small annoyances.
  • Also, there is no proper documentation available
  • The reports are not as robust as we need them to be.
  • You can get reports on orders and reports on tickets, but you can't get a report on which tickets have completed payments.

  • it is very easy to issue such certificates using AWS Certificate Manager
  • we only need to request a certificate for the website URL and after validating the request
  • it is also fully integrated with all other AWS services
  • manages the entire life cycle of the Certificates by itself, so it will reduce your work by a really big amount
  • it can also be easily integrated with ELB and front-end cloud services.

Informatica Application ILM is being piloted by one of our Data Scientist teams, to determine if the product meets the current business need for managing and processing large amounts of real-estate data. We use other services currently but since we have worked with Informatica PowerCenter for ETL development and management the company wished to explore the ILM suite as a new option, hoping for synergy between the various products.
  • Data crunching on housing markets
  • Management of internal data usage
  • The tech is still very new to our company and as such we are still seeing where it can be of use.
  • As we are still piloting the product at our company at this time the feedback is highly limited.
It is fantastic for dealing with large pools of data. If you have only a tiny subset of information, our current POC would seem to indicate that you would be better served with a different product. This is not for small number crunching or the like; this is a tool for massive amounts of data.
  • As I am not in the accounting department, and as this product is still being piloted on a limited level, I cannot provide any feedback on ROI
My company currently uses Hadoop for big data management, as well as ParAccel/Matrix databases for storing the data. The combo is fairly effective, and the only reason we are exploring ILM is because of our use of other Informatica products, and looking to build in either synergies between the technologies, or cost savings by bundling all our licensing through one vendor (Informatica)
