Informatica Data Archive is used to control data growth in production databases and retire legacy applications. It is a legacy product and will not receive further updates.

Solix Enterprise Data Management Suite (Solix EDMS) is an information lifecycle management solution, from Solix Technologies in Santa Clara. Solix helps infrastructure and operations leaders implement the right policies, processes, and technology for application decommissioning and data retention, and helps users identify infrequently accessed historic data from production applications, and ‘move’ it to a secure archive with data integrity and access preserved. Solix EDMS also identifies otherwise difficult to find PII, PCI, PHI and other sensitive data across the heterogeneous data sources and secure it using the format-preserving data masking.

In this users section here you can see which users are configured and you have the ability to suspend a user. If you want to edit or add users, you need to go to the Organization section, then click on another user section there, which then gives you the ability to edit or add users.

It's not a major problem, but it's an example of one of many small annoyances.
Also, there is no proper documentation available

The reports are not as robust as we need them to be.
You can get reports on orders and reports on tickets, but you can't get a report on which tickets have completed payments.

it is very easy to issue such certificates using AWS Certificate Manager
we only need to request a certificate for the website URL and after validating the request

it is also fully integrated with all other AWS services
manages the entire life cycle of the Certificates by itself, so it will reduce your work by a really big amount
it can also be easily integrated with ELB and front-end cloud services.

Informatica [Application] ILM process helped our organization in managing and archiving a large amount of data. We really love this tool. [We have] used this along with power center which has minimized our data privacy and security issues. Our experience with ILM is just amazing. Informatica ILM is a powerful data processing tool that is used by the analytics and big data team. ILM allows the team to manage, process, and curate large chunks of data. The team also uses ILM to ensure that the right data is available to the right people in the right format at the right time.

Advisable to use ILM if already using Informatica PowerCenter

As a standalone tool (without PowerCenter), ILM does not add much value.

Tracking the usage of specific brackets of data across the entire organisation has now become possible.
The team was already using PowerCenter. Therefore, using ILM was a very apt decision that allowed easier management of data at the organisation level.

Informatica Application ILM is being piloted by one of our Data Scientist teams, to determine if the product meets the current business need for managing and processing large amounts of real-estate data. We use other services currently but since we have worked with Informatica PowerCenter for ETL development and management the company wished to explore the ILM suite as a new option, hoping for synergy between the various products.

As we are still piloting the product at our company at this time the feedback is highly limited.

As I am not in the accounting department, and as this product is still being piloted on a limited level, I cannot provide any feedback on ROI
