We use it for security awareness between our users. I am responsible to add all the users and make sure they follow up the training. It is easy to add users and maintain them. When we chase on people that did not follow the training we sometimes get feedback that they do not understand the training because of a language barrier. That is the only thing we struggle with.
  • Easy way to maintain users
  • Easy to add new users
Cons
  • Support multiple languages
  • Video for different levels of employees
We are a multiple language company. Not all our colleagues are speaking English so that is hard sometimes.
It is easy for us to maintain the users and add or remove new people.

Also our IT users need to follow the training. The feedback we receive from them is that the video's are not needed for them.

  • People are more aware of security risks.
So far I did not use the support yet.
It works very good for our company because it is easy to maintain and easy to keep track of people who followed the trainings. We can add and remove people very easily and can keep track of the trainings. Because of this, we are able to chase users that did not follow their training yet and can make sure the company is aware of security risks.
I did not make use of this yet.

I use Infosec IQ for Cybersecurity Awareness Training and for Phishing Simulation Campaigns. We are currently using the Infosec IQ platform to train around 4000 Metrolinx staff on various Cybersecurity Awareness related topics, such as social engineering, ransomware, business email compromise, etc. The Infosec IQ platform has provided exactly the type of education we were looking for since the content fits our business needs. The content is relevant and modern.
  • Overall training content
  • New just the facts series
  • Customer service
  • Development
Cons
  • The user experience could be simplified.
  • I feel like there are some complicated reporting functionalities.
  • I would really like ADA compliance for all content.
  • I wish the training content was more customizable.
  • The user experience of deploying phish campaigns could be a little less complicated.
It provides a great content library, good customer service, and management is keeping up with the current trends. We, as an organization, were able to leverage many training modules and we felt like the majority of our business needs were addressed by management. Also, all our issues were resolved in a timely manner.

Infosec IQ ensures that our data devices like mobile/registered resources are secured from piracy, phishing, spoofing, etc. This ensures authenticated logins by alternate security set up /MFA either through push notification or security questions pre-registered by authenticated users while signing in for the first time. I recommend it to all organizations for safe and trusted data access.
  • Data safety
  • Trusted entry/logins
  • Registered resources
Cons
  • Accessibility
  • Time of inactivity
Well suited when a person joins my team that allows his or her registered access. Not recommended to have access when a person leaves the organization. His or her access has to be removed automatically based on the last login date.

  • Reduce fraud logins
The training library content is helpful while the professional system ensures secure and trusted access within an organization based on teaching about data safety, no fraud access, and, mail spoofing.
It is very user-friendly and has easy registration with minimal fuss. The lockout time could be improved. It also has a great library and training programs that provide the best support to report fraudulent actions.
They're well fitted for my business requirements. Reporting fraud actions and data piracy is important for my company's healthy life. More restricted access to hacking thus ensuring a safe workplace
More licenses.

Great product, fantastic support and service.

We currently use INFOSEC IQ for staff training requirements and will be adding student support at some point soon. We have found our click rate has steadily gone down since using INFOSEC IQ.
We are also finding a higher percentage of staff reporting emails to us since starting this program (both real and simulated phishing emails).
  • There is a wide array of video styles to fit all kinds of training needs.
  • INFOSEC IQ are very good at working with us to get the most of their product within our needs.
  • Customizing or creating our own phishing templates is easy to do.
  • Support is top notch!
  • We can use the content off line with our SCORM for yearly training requirements
Cons
  • We have internal issues with certain wording (Training, Courses, and such). There are some landing pages where we cannot customize and change those words. We have found work arounds.
We use some of the videos from INFOSEC IQ for our staff's yearly training requirements. We also use videos on a monthly basis with our security SharePoint page for monthly news and updates. Currently, we utilize one of INFOSEC IQ's yearly plans to send out a monthly bulletin email and then do monthly phishing campaigns based on the topic of the month.

  • Our phish rate has dropped drastically since using INFOSEC IQ.
  • The rate of staff reporting not only our simulated phishing emails, but real phishing or suspicious emails is increasing as well.
  • We are getting more conversation happening around cyber security.
Whenever I have a question or an issue, I send a support request through my company portal login, and support usually gets back to me within a very quick timeline. Amazing support!
There are a few customizations we would like to be able to do to some of the landing pages for our staff. We require specific wording around the concept of "training" so as to avoid issues with staff looking for time off to complete "training" and "courses"
We would have used services to originally configure our setup and that went very smoothly.
We are currently in our second 3-year subscription and the process, cost, and service are great.

We currently have over 3,600 staff to who we send simulated phishing emails to as well as we utilize material from Infosec IQ to share information with our staff.

At the moment, just one staff member creates and monitors various campaigns.
  • Simulated phishing
  • On going security awareness
  • Yearly security training requirement in security awareness
  • We have used some content on our own Sharepoint (behind a login) page.
  • The SCORM service is good for our yearly staff training needs.
  • We are still working on implementing the reporting from staff to Infosec (we had two email systems to support in the past and did not want to do that at the time).
  • We are looking to involve teachers and their class of students to enhance awareness with our students.

Being an education organization cost is an important factor when we evaluate products. Infosec IQ met our needs at a cost we could handle.
We evaluated 4 different vendors when we first looked at this service 4 years ago. I still stand by the decision we made to go with Infosec IQ.
It has been a while since I evaluated the other products that I cannot recall all of the other ones (one was Knowb4). I do know for the most part all of them pretty much did the same overall thing, while some had features others did not. In the end, the price, support and satisfaction of the product demo made INFOSEC IQ our choice.
  • Implemented in-house
No
  • From what I can remember, our main issues have always been internal. Needing to get permission to run campaigns from various unions and employee groups. The setup of Infosec IQ itself went very well.
Support before, during, and after was and is fantastic!
I do not recall doing that so I do not think we did.
When I was first testing the report email feature with both Google and O365, they were amazing in helping me get things figured out.
  • Setting up the various campaigns are a snap
  • Creating or modifying email templates are fairly easy to do
  • Downloading various supporting posters and material
  • Customizing staff landing pages could use a bit more flexibility

Great tool for baseline cyber training across the company

Employee training for all employees to provide baseline training on cyber security. We use it as a solution to centrally manage IT training and awareness, as well as Phishing simulation/testing.
  • Facilitates training modules
  • Provides good pre-built training courses
  • Tracking and reporting of progress
  • Simulated phishing scenarios
Cons
  • Wish could integrate more closely into our internal network (so people don't need to go to another 3rd party site to use it).
  • More reminders to users to complete their training
  • Offer services to manage the platform each month for us
Well suited to provide baseline cyber training for employees, centrally and globally. It is an effective tool to run phishing simulation scenarios against users and track performance. It is well suited for dispersed users that have little-to-no experience or formal training in information security. Also want to be able to test users' ability to spot phishing.
  • Employees are reporting suspicious emails now to IT
  • Employees are very skeptical for any 3rd party emails
  • Employees have better respect for IT provisions and controls.
Have been responsive to any questions. Haven't needed too serious of support so far. I do not believe we have fully used the full offering of Infosec to the level we should yet. Support tries to get us to do more but we have been challenged to have the time to do more with it.
Have found it to be quite user-friendly. Users do not have issues that they report on. The administrative side has been fairly straightforward, although I wish we could 'hound' users more about completing their training. The phishing simulation has probably been the best tool to evaluate the skills of users, and they take it quite well when they get 'caught'.
Do not use.
Easy to justify the cost for the value. This is a relatively small cost-per-user amount compared to the relative costs of almost any time of security incident. It is also much more practical than any type of in-person or internally-developed training tool. It would cost us much more internally to develop the content ourselves.
