What is Inuvika OVD Enterprise?
Inuvika OVD Enterprise is a digital workspace platform that delivers virtualized Windows and Linux application and shared desktops to any device. Users can access their apps through OVD native clients on Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, Android, Chromebook, and Raspberry Pi-based devices, and HTML5 browsers.
Built on Linux, with Inuvika's resource containerization technology, OVD Enterprise helps data centers to run more efficiently, using less infrastructure capacity.
Applications are installed on centralized application servers and are presented to remote users in one of three ways: Desktop, Application, or Web portal mode. OVD provides granular control over user privileges (such as copy/paste, print or directory access) while ensuring that sensitive data remains safely stored in the data center. Only encrypted screen, keyboard and mouse data traverses the network. OVD supports any LDAP compliant directory, works with existing CIFS/NFS/WebDAV network storage and is hypervisor agnostic. It can be deployed on-premise, on public/private cloud platforms, or accessed as a service.
With fewer technical skills required to manage the single, web-based admin console, the solution helps to reduce the need for outside consultants. Features like multi-tenancy are set up with the click of a button.
The technology platform supports industry sectors including government, healthcare, education and business. They provide tailored software maintenance and support services to all types of organizations.
