What is ISL Light?

ISL Light is remote support and remote access software that enables SMBs and large enterprises to offer fast and efficient support and maintenance for Windows, Mac and Linux computers as well as mobile device support for Android and iOS.

ISL Light allows the operator to invite a client to join a support session by typing in a unique session code, or to start the remote support session directly from live chat software. The software is translated in 28 languages and used across a range of industries that includes banking, government, insurance, and healthcare.

Key features include screen sharing, unattended access to remote computers, permission management, chat messaging, session recording, file transfer, WakeOnLAN, RDP routing. The product is subject to high-security standards and provides two-factor authentication and AES 256-bit data encryption.

ISL Light can be deployed as a cloud service or as an on-premise solution. The license does not limit the number of users, installations or the number of clients users connect to.

Much cheaper licence then TeamViewer and much more user friendly than UltraVNC for example. Better performance then AnyDesk or Chrome Remote Desktop. It has simple user interface which can be immediatly understood. But if you dig deeper you see there is in depth capabilites for remote access and computer management.

When I performed a little market research I found out that ISL Light has great competitive pricing. Especially a major benefit for me personally, is that there is the possibility to purchase the license on per-credit use (besides per subscription).
Also, on the technical side, the software is quite 'lightweight' compared to other offerings.

The ability to install ISL Light on our own server and manage the connections securely ourselves made a huge impact on our decision. Other systems require cloud connectivity to third-party servers we cannot vouch for. ISL's licensing terms are very reasonable in comparison as well.

It's easy to answer this. ISL Light has practical advantages with a normal or RDP connection. Always-on seems to work better for us and only one number to connect to a client is also more practical than entering numbers and passwords. Also, faster opening and always the up-to-date start of application is superb for our needs.

- No password or such things needed, just a code which is automatically generated
- Easy Modus to see UAC-Windows and complete administrative tasks

[In my experience] All of the other services have jacked up their prices, making them uncompetitive. While they may have similar feature sets, they don't make things as easy as ISL Light for renewing subscriptions and upgrading software. ISL Light shines as offering a variety of extras that are well-implemented and all included.

ISL Light is cheap for multisession use. It has a very simple licensing model if we compare to other softwares. Using the software is simple and the GUI stays the same and doesn't change with upgrades.

The integration that ISL Light has with ISL Pronto was a wonderful reason for us to consider ISL instead of other solutions. Most other providers do not offer seamless access from any device, to any device. For example- our engineer can access FROM his cell phone, into a client's iPhone, to provide remote support and walk-thru to fix an issue with the client's phone.
