What is iSpring Learn?

iSpring Learn is an LMS for automating corporate training and improving employee performance.

The system aims to enable users without technical skills to launch eLearning in one day without training. To start training with the platform, administrators upload learning content, assign courses, and start tracking learners’ progress. The reporting features can be used to see detailed breakdowns of performance statistics for users, groups, and organizations. And feedback and comments can be used to help guide learners through the process.

With it, users can reflect their corporate hierarchy with different departments and sub-departments, set rules, and assign employees to a course automatically. Also, account owners can customize the learner portal to reflect their corporate branding.

iSpring learn enables mobile learning. Users can access course materials from their smartphones with the free iSpring Learn app for iOS and Android. The app allows learners to save content directly to their devices for viewing offline. All statistics are saved and synchronized with the system as soon as the device reconnects to the Internet.

In our organization we utilize iSpring Learn for onboarding training, continuing education, on demand trainings, and follow up assessments. In our industry there are ever changing regulations and product lines that we are responsible for servicing, so this allows all employees from all of our locations to receive centralized education that is standardized but can also be customized.
  • The iSpring Support Team is incredibly quick and efficient.
  • Having the entire Suite, the integration is easy to handle.
  • Getting users set up within the program is well done.
  • I would like to see the integration between Learn and Cloud be more efficient.
  • Users tend to have difficulties resetting their own passwords.
  • In the future, I would like to see some capabilities in the in person trainings increase. You can set up the trainings, but having hybrid courses is incredibly difficult.
iSpring Learn does a fantastic job of providing a solution for companies that use centralized courses and lean towards creating their own. We have all proprietary information that we use to education our teams, and it is very easy to utilize Learn to spread that education. If a smaller company were to only use prepurchased compliance trainings, I dont believe that the software would be the best available for the cost.

We use iSpring for new employee training/education and employees being promoted or moving to new areas. We only use for in house courses that we create and manage. We are a global organization.
  • Easy to setup a new user and enroll in courses
  • Cloud based and easy to access and use
  • We have hardly any need to support - meaning works well
  • I am not sure I fully understand the entire product suite
  • Maybe a more continuous relationship with an account manager
Really easy to setup and enroll new users in the standard courses we use for our global staff.

These courses are available to all association members, ensuring that every operator is equipped with consistent and standardised knowledge essential for the industry.

Our comprehensive curriculum addresses a wide array of topics, catering to diverse roles and proficiency levels, to foster excellence across the board.
  • Ease of learning
  • Interactive courses

  • i feel iSpring Learn has grown and improved in the 4+ years of using so no current concerns
The setting up and assigning courses, quizzes, and learning tracks is straightforward. Monitoring participant progress and receiving updates is seamless. Our system generates monthly reports, allowing us to track user engagement and course assignments effectively and areas where improvements is needed. The platform is scalable, accommodating an increasing number of users without any issues.

iSpring learn is super user-friendly and has been super easy for onboarding employees to use. The primary purpose of iSpring for my company is new employee onboarding training. The module course format has made our training process easier for onboarding employees. We recently looked into switching to another LMS format, and we decided to stick with ISpring as it is easy to use when it comes to creating learning tracks and has more value for the price. We were quoted almost double at another company for similar features.
  • User friendly training platform
  • Simple content creation
  • Data reporting and storage
  • Reporting tools are tedious to use
  • More integrations with HR websites and data tools
iSpring has made it easy to implement new onboard training seamlessly and helped with training engagement and retention. The course format has made new employees grasp content as the user side is strongly supported for ease of use. Content creation and integration have been very easy on the administrator side, allowing our company to update and adjust content with limited timeframes quickly.

iSpring Learn is our corporate LMS. We use it to build, deliver, and track learning throughout the company. Our solution set is broad and technical, so having a way to build and deliver learning quickly and effectively is critical to ensure sales growth and onboarding. We have over 200 users across the company and hundreds of learning modules, courses, and learning tracks.
  • Gamification is native and easy to implement
  • Organizing learning content and courses
  • Customer service is top notch
  • User administration is a little tricky
  • There is no way to make batch changes to courses
  • There's no sandbox
iSpring is an excellent tool to manage and deliver eLearning. For L&D Managers looking to expand their offerings and implementation, it's a great solution. We also use iSpring Authoring Tools which is a separate paid subscription, but the functionality and ease of use is incredible.

For companies with over 500 employees, I would imagine that management of the platform can be particularly challenging.

We use iSpring to both create and host all of our SCORM based training for internal use as well as our customer facing training. It's great because we can create the trainig and immediately upload to our LMS sites. We use both iSpring Learn and iSpring Market. Both work equally well.
  • customizable player options
  • easy upload to hosted sites
  • loads of options to customize the actual training
  • video control options are sometimes difficult to set up
  • too few pre built training options on the course library
  • third party options on the course library are difficult to set up
We were able to migrate all of our pre existing internal training presentations over into the iSpring SCORM based options very easily. I haven't gotten the chance to schedule live training sessions yet, but I'm looking forward to doing so. I do wish that the reporting options were more accurate.

We use the system as our learning management system. We store content, distribute to employees, track completions, and report on completion status. We have all our employees use the system for all learning activities. We address leadership issues, we use it for our client training, and we use it for all our internal training. One of the main things we use the system for is compliance training.
  • Content library
  • Content distribution
  • Ease to use
  • Customer support
  • Communication capability
  • Reporting - it would be great if there were more automated reports
  • Admin training. We wish there was canned admin training.
  • Standing training for clients
This is a great mid-tier LMS for medium to small businesses. It is well suited for companies with 50 to 1000 employees. It is easy to learn and not very sophisticated. If your team does not have a lot of experience with a LMS this is a great system due to the ease of use. It is also nice it you do not have a lot of system interaction needs.

We use iSpring Learn to offer training courses to external customers and for training internal partners. The training communicates proper operation and usage, maintenance, and theory for industrial machinery. We sell the training as an additional option to in-person and live-online training and many customers prefer the computer-based model.
  • Easy integration
  • Short learning curve
  • Excellenct support
  • Easier setting of sequential rules for courses
  • Reports for learning tracks
  • Automated certificates for sub-course level work
It's a very flexible tool to supplement already existing training programs or for learner evaluations. We purchased this to sell external training but quickly found uses for it for hiring applicants, internal training, and evaluation.

We use the platform for training purposes, and I must say we are very comfortable with it. It is really ductile and flexible and I also want to make a special mention for the customer support team who have proved to be not only prepared and competent but also very patient and helpful in supporting us to solve technical issues that did not even depend on the platform itself. Kudos for your work because you make people's lives much less stressful!
  • Flexibility in managing the training materials
  • Personalization of the contents
  • Connection with other platform like zoom etc.
  • Ai Avatar
Well I see the best application in case of a training program composed by many different argument and for different company level.
I do not see any scenarios where it is less appropriate.

The problem to tackle in our company was to eliminate live course redundancies, as well as quantifying and keeping track of our courses and the progress of the attendees. We use it as an online academy, with basic to advanced courses which allow not only our staff, but our clients, to self-train on our products, as well as to keep track as instructors of the progress, performance and needs these might have according to their scenarios.
  • Easy course management.
  • Traceability
  • Course creation tools.
  • Self checkout for course purchases.
  • Easier low level structures for permission and access.
  • Better UX at some dashboards.
It's great for self-service online courses, where you need to design, track, and give support or feedback to the attendees. From your own endeavor to a corporate solution, you can design courses and have them available easily. May not be suitable for very small companies, which don't have enough volume to delegate training to unattended courses, or big companies, which need to have custom sessions for different clients.

We use iSpring for both clients and in-house training. Our scope of training includes how to maintain and how to keep your fresh water systems in public water clean and operable for the general public and this also includes sewer systems. For our in-house training we use it for all general and house training such as how to use Outlook we've built numerous trainings to use and continuing to build.
  • Customer service
  • Updates
  • Training on the how to use the product
  • A better graphics tool
  • Audio cutting if there was a way to flag where you want to make cuts
Personally I cannot think of a place nor time that a iSpring would not be a appropriate software to be using for training it it's very dynamic and it does what really I've seen needed in every LMS I've dealt with.

We currently use iSpring as our LMS system for a variety of our online training courses.
  • Pretty easy to create a course on the platform
  • Has chat feature readily available for tech support
  • Flexible on programs they offer and billing terms
  • They are unable to fix about anything through their tech support.
  • They can't go into the backend of their program to see what you experience which makes for a lot of back and forth and them rarely ever being able to address a support issue.
  • Not compatible with Safari for published training and have to go through an app with smartphone.
  • Login emails unreliable...over 25% of my users constantly reported not getting them or they go to spam; not sure why, but on other platforms I've used this has never been an issue.
I was hopeful this would be great, but they just did not hit the mark. While their customer service is friendly and very responsive, they have really never been able to fix any issue I've had over 3 years. I've always had to do work arounds. And they really need to become compatible with Safari and not require an app to use their product if on a smartphone. None of our other LMS required this and became a HUGE pain for our clients.

We use iSpring Learn for internal compliance and soft skills training, demonstrating our e-learning offerings to potential clients and providing our clients with LMS services.
  • Integrate with iSpring Learn dev tools
  • Easy to deploy courses
  • Intuitive user interface
  • Reporting progress across a team or across a series of courses
  • Bulk functions (add/delete)
  • Dashboard

I over the past 10 years, I developed "FastStart Online New Business Broker Training," a unique professional learning system. I market and sell this system on an eCommerce website. I had never developed an online delivery system before, so i looked at several. I am so glad I chose iSpring Learn LMS because my student/users love it and it provides all the features I needed; it makes me look good and the student tell their friends about it. iSpring handles my content easily, consisting of 3 learning tracks, 27 modules, and 52 submodules. I developed and published all the quizzes on iSpring Suite, which is simple to use. I was able to integrate links to a Box account with 516 downloadable documents, required for completion of the learning tracks. The learners earn downloadable, personalized certificates of accreditation after completing each learning track. Supervisors receive automated progress reports tracking their users.
  • Share content across different learning paths.
  • Organizes the content logically
  • Makes it easy to control the user's learning path from one module to the next.
  • The quizzes are easy to write in iSpringSuite
  • I like the automated progress reports
  • I wish ISpring Learn could interface with my eCommerce website so that users were automatically enrolled when they purchase a course. That would require an API feed.
  • I have 516 downloadable documents for the three learning tracks. I wish iSpring Learn had an option for the user to download numerous documents at one time, instead of one at a time. After early users complained, I put a link to a Box account, for each learning track, so the user could download the documents all at one time.
This was the first time I ever developed an inline training system. While I developed all the content, I am not an "IT" person, so i was worried about structuring the system and implementing it in an LMS. iSpring Learn is easy, flexible, intuitive, and really professional. The support staff was immediately responsive and knowledgeable; they made it fun to create a great course delivery system. My users rave about it... and that is after delivering 3 tracks, with 27 modules, and 52 submodules, with 27 quizzes. I plan to enhance the system adding video delivery over time. Great LMS; glad I chose iSpring Learn.

We didn't have an LMS platform to support automated learning to employees at scale. Currently, training sessions were instructor-led and in small staggered batches. We came across iSpring Learn's management solution and the extent of features/functionalities it has is really good. Right from the authoring tool to the knowledge hub, quizzes, and quite many formats of learning materials available, it eases our tasks of creating content in-house as well as managing training. Customization and integrations with existing HRMS are add-ons.
  • Gamification: Available badges, certificates, and user achievements on training completion. Leadership boards available in the user profile increase competitiveness and motivation among users.
  • Analytics: Org level, departments wise, groups wise, and user-wise in-depth reports with lots of filters. The learning curve at the user level is one great functionality.
  • MS PowerPoint integration with iSpring Learn is a top feature and since most of our users are pretty comfortable with MS PowerPoint, it allows for easy content creation and quizzes.
  • More pre-loaded courses on soft skills and generic skills as part of the library, like email etiquette, POSH, Communication at the workplace, etc.
  • 360 performance review mechanism for each employee not just from training KPIs but from overall employee skill development
  • AI-based content generation tool to create content on the go
iSpring Learn is suited to small as well as large-scale organizations and their pricing model is good, pay per user as a company scales, and per-user cost decreases. Overall, easy customizations of UI and content creation on MS PowerPoint that will automatically generate SCORM learning modules, make adoption very easy for any organization. Overall, a great platform for any company to get started with LMS if they are trying to digitalize their learning management.

Our business had limited training structure and needed a reliable platform. We needed something simple and effective for delivering self-paced learning.
  • Good reporting on training progress
  • Many file types supported
  • Easy to configure
  • Deeper reporting
  • Ability to see when users logged in last
  • More free basic ready made courses

iSpring Learn made a big step forward since 2022. It is improved in the number of features, the personal review option and the services connected. And this development is still going on very fast. It really becomes a great platform with a very good pricing model.
  • Clear overview on the platform for learners and administrators
  • Great administration portal with lots of features
  • 360 review option for personal development
  • Easy to use
  • More standard connectors (API)
  • Connection to LinkedIn Learning, Go1, etc. course libraries

iSpring Learn is used as the LMS for our learning initiatives. It is very easy to use and very intuitive, so it is user-friendly. There are many LMSs out there, and most do the same things, so what makes iSpring Learn stand out is their easy-to-use system and absolute dedication to customer service, not just for problems that may come up, but for how-to's and the occasional help to take it to the next level.
  • Tracking and record keeping
  • Authoring is easy and cutting edge
  • Collaboration is easy when you use their iSpring Space
  • I think it would be nice to drill down into the record keeping more
  • I think the gamification would be better presented if it were more "in your face" instead of on another page
I believe it is fantastic for companies that are starting their training system, because it is easy to use and in-depth. I also believe that it can be scaled for larger companies, like ours, at 7,000. I really can't think of a scenario where this system wouldn't work for you.

I used the authoring tool to build out a custom training program for my retail cannabis company, and use the iSpring Learn LMS to host the trainings for my staff.
  • I like that you can build custom content.
  • I like that there's options for different types of quizzes and role playing scenarios.
  • The customer support is incredible!
  • I would like to see some different styles of interactions, I feel somewhat limited in what is available.
  • I wish I could edit interactions/role plays/etc. while still moving throughout my PowerPoint. I have to close and reopen the interaction many times, which slows down my process, when I am copying and pasting a lot of materials.
  • The reporting function is pretty underwhelming. I wish it would take the custom surveys and quiz results and present them better in Excel. It takes A LOT of manual effort to really understand the results of the reports.
iSpring Learn is very user-friendly and great for companies looking to build custom training content that doesn't have a ton of bandwidth in terms of designing materials. If you want robust reporting, currently as it functions, iSpring Learn wouldn't be the best option.

We use iSpring Learn to train new hires. We also use it for continuing education purposes for current employees. It allows up to train in a more efficient way and train more people in a smaller amount of time. It also creates consistency in what everyone is learning.
  • Organize information
  • Creating quizzes
  • Tracking progress
  • A way to send a link to the app when people first sign up
  • Show the length of videos in the setup so we can see how long each course is
  • Less clicks when getting to course/track outlines
iSpring Learn is very easy to adapt and use. The app is very helpful for our staff to use on the go. The flow of courses is very easy and straightforward. Very good overall and would recommend it. Also, the customer service and onboarding were great.

We are using iSpring Learn as a tool to deliver training materials to our staff team across multiple departments, eradicating the need to complete multiple face-to-face sessions. Whilst primarily focused on our technical support team, we are also using the platform for bulk training needs, such as health and safety and fire safety. It is also our home for storing knowledge articles for the team to access at their leisure.
  • Courses are easy to set up and it doesn't take a lot of time or effort to get them to look professional.
  • Easy to report on individual users or courses, as well as look at a broader picture.
  • Allows you to create a diverse set of courses, allowing some to be more practical based than others.
  • Only real issue is the fact that you cannot filter out knowledge articles by user/department. We were hoping to use the platform to also allow some of our external customers access; however, iSpring Learn only has the ability to filter out courses. Knowledge articles are more practical for our personal needs, as they are quick PDFs or videos that our customers would be able to access, without seeing any of our internal work.
Pros
  • New starter training
  • Bulk Training--allows you to assign one course to everyone with a click of a button, saving you the effort of delivering the course to all members of the team in a more physical setting.
  • Reporting on who has done what/going the extra mile

Cons
  • Not everything can be restricted to certain users, which is the only downside I find.

Our program chose iSpring to deliver a course to adult learners across the state. At Extension, our mission is to connect to citizens and provide technical and educational assistance.
  • Clean display. Many of our users are new to online learning, so it was imperative that the display and interface were easy for users.
  • Cost effective. Compared to many of the other online learning systems this program is affordable.
  • Easy to create a course. On the administrative side, it is easy to create content and put together the course.
  • Reports lack flexibility. We can typically get what we want, but I have to do some workarounds to access the information I want.
This program works well for us to deliver content to the general public and those that have signed up for our courses. It is easy to use and is accessible on any device.

We provide training foe CNC machine tools. Our customers (industry and academia) are using our iSpring classes to learn how to program, set up, and run CNC mills and lathes. This means we are not providing "internal" training for our own employees, but to external training to customers that pay for the classes they attend.
  • Unlimited content - Having the ability to upload as much content as it takes to provide our various classes is very important to us.
  • The ability to set up "organizations" where an administrator can provide training for their students. We have several high schools and colleges set up in this manner.
  • No downtime that I've noticed. The system just works.
  • Customer support. I have an issue that they cannot seem to replicate and correct. Also, support time seems to have degraded since I started using iSpring Learn.

iSpring was used as a platform for managing internal training and new employee onboarding processes.
We used the gamification aspects somewhat and the course creator & modules the most. I also liked the easy integration iSpring has with Powerpoint, that was certainly a very good feature to have. Since we are a small firm the investment in the product was somewhat expensive but it offered great value for the price.
  • Integration with powerpoint
  • Course creator
  • Reports are lacking
Very useful for the following circumstances: product training, internal IT systems awareness class 101, introduction to the team & some basics about the company architecture, onboarding new employees, and upskilling old employees once a new software has been implemented. It is not very useful for the following scenarios: I have a large company and need to get a bird's eye view and LIVE data about employee training and it's effectiveness.

Initially, we began using iSpring Learn to track completion of annual mandatory training required by government regulations. Once Managers experienced the ease of tracking courses and the ability to complete training assigned any time/anywhere, use of the product took off in our organization. Given we have employees all throughout the U.S., iSpring is a great solution for our Company!
  • Track training.
  • Provides a certificate of completion immediately following successful completion of the course.
  • The reporting function is easy to use.
  • Training can be set up to be presented on any smart device.
  • Although an evaluation form can be created for users to complete providing feedback of the system, I would like to have a default template to use for this purpose.
  • The default certificate needs to be updated for a more professional look. One can create an evaluation but it’s not worth the hassle.
  • Can’t think of anything else.
The program is well suited for any organization where learning is a priority.
