What is iSpring Learn?

iSpring Learn is an LMS for automating corporate training and improving employee performance.

The system aims to enable users without technical skills to launch eLearning in one day without training. To start training with the platform, administrators upload learning content, assign courses, and start tracking learners’ progress. The reporting features can be used to see detailed breakdowns of performance statistics for users, groups, and organizations. And feedback and comments can be used to help guide learners through the process.

With it, users can reflect their corporate hierarchy with different departments and sub-departments, set rules, and assign employees to a course automatically. Also, account owners can customize the learner portal to reflect their corporate branding.

iSpring learn enables mobile learning. Users can access course materials from their smartphones with the free iSpring Learn app for iOS and Android. The app allows learners to save content directly to their devices for viewing offline. All statistics are saved and synchronized with the system as soon as the device reconnects to the Internet.

iSpring is a more entry level LMS. It does not have the same level of features and benefits. For example, it does not have the same level of communication capability. It does not have the same level of reporting functionality. It does not have the same ability to build reporting. It also does not have the same level of communication capabilities.

iSpring Learn has a lot of power with a very cost-effective punch. Prices and capabilities can vary widely with LMSs. iSpring Learn can do everything we were looking for but at a reasonable cost. Other LMS software may have more options but we really didn't need most of them.

iSpring Learn has everything you need in one place, looks great, and it's very easy to maintain. Interaction with users is organic and has a great flow. Course updates can be easily done with powerful design tools. If combined with the Suite, it's an all-in-one solution where you don't have to worry about juggling with other products.

iSpring probably had the least functionality of all of them. Ease of use is similar to Skyprep (Tovuti was by far the most complicated), but iSpring did not meet expectations and had constant glitches that could not be fixed by their tech team.

Every platform has its own focus and strengths. We were mostly looking at automating and digitalizing our training program from instructor-led training and analytics/dashboards with detailed user performance. Trakstar has more in-depth dashboards and Paradiso is great in AI-based content generation, but since that's good to have features not our business goal, we narrowed it down at iSpring Learn.

iSpring is easy to use comparing to other LMS systems. ALM is more extensive if it comes to features, but it's also more focussed on big companies (+2000 users). Also social learning is better in ALM. eFront is very hard to manage, administrator portal is not very clear like iSpring Learn is. TalentLMS has the same target audience, but is very complicated in it's licensing and also the helpdesk is not that good as iSpring Learn.

All of these have their benefits, but none really had a better LMS than iSpring Learn. They throw in off the shelf courses, but if you're needing a good learning management system you are going to make-do with these others.

I reviewed a few different LMSs before deciding on iSpring Learn. I can't remember the names, but I chose iSpring Learn primarily because I liked that it was just a PowerPoint add-on, which made it easy to use, and I liked the price!

We used Udemy for Business for a couple of years, which was fine for certain courses; however, you paid per license as opposed to iSpring Learn, where you pay a flat fee for 50, 100, 200 licenses. The fact that we can also create our own content for our bespoke service makes a huge difference as well.

As a reseller of the iSpring authoring tools, it was obvious to have a deeper look at iSpring Learn. As said before, iSpring Learn is perfectly integrated with the iSpring tools, but it is also really easy to use. You don't need to attend or follow specific training courses to set it and use it. You have access to a large set of very useful features and you can get detailed reports to control your training. Another key point is that the yearly subscription is affordable. The iSpring support staff is also here to help their customers for any questions - they reply quickly and their answers are always very professional. When you select a product, you should also check the quality of the support.
An opensource solution might be an alternative... but that would probably also mean to spend more time for implementing and setting the solution... so at the end it could be more expensive...

They are not user friendly, It is free and I think the paid version works much better. In the past I used Moodle, as a teacher I had problems uploading and using it let alone my students. Now iSpring has a mobile app for both Android and iPhone. It has made my job so easy and enjoyable.

When it comes to creating materials for learners, Moodle is a real drag to work with, and ProProfs is not much better. ProProfs' LMS is pretty good, but they don't have a good way to create good-looking materials offline. iSpring's Quizmaker seems to have great promise.
