In our MCS Academy we are actively moving from presence to blended learning. The selection of tools to migrate our current, extensive static learning content to interactive modules on our LMS was very easy as the base sources are Word and Excel documents.
  • Converts PowerPoint to interactive SCORM
  • Converts Word books to HTML and keeps chapter organisation
  • Allows for checking and confirming output before publishing
  • I am happy with the product
We use the iSpring Suite to convert our static training material to interactive web formats. In addition we create Quizzes to add "quality control" to our online offerings.
  • Word and Powerpoint compatibility
  • Common web formats for LMS
  • It saves a huge amount of time and programming to go live on training material.
iSpring is a simple to use tool that uses Microsoft Office skills currently learned. Even after 4 weeks of not using iSpring, you can jump right in and get great quality output
I had a difficult issue where iSpring just stopped working. It turned out to be a Microsoft Windows/Office issue. The iSpring Support team continued to contact me until we got the issue resolved. A support team that does not wait for the customer to call back is EXCEPTIONAL. I can not think of any other vendor that was this devoted to finding a solution! My compliments to "Dana" and the rest of the iSpring support teasm!
We bought a package. I do not know if "premium" support was part of that.
Yes
Yes, it was solved and the entire process was very transparent.
The last 6 weeks with a very difficult problem. iSpring support kept contacting me - I NEVER had to chase them!

We use iSpring Suite to develop storyboards and learning content layouts for our customers to review and interact with courses. Once approved, we make the PowerPoint slides interactive, then publish them as either SCORM, AICC, or MP4 videos, whichever is appropriate for the project. Customers can also create their own PowerPoint slides, which we then use as a starting point. The PPTX file has solved that intermediary format that is easy to create, update, and now convert easily into learning content.
  • Develop custom navigation
  • Manage narration files
  • Maintain PowerPoint animations and interactions
  • Use overlays in embedded videos to pause and display additional information
  • More robust video tools
  • More examples for using web objects effectively
This is one of the best authoring tools in the market. As a strong user of most of them, we ran across iSpring Suite years ago when the product was still evolving. Who would have thought that having these tools embedded inside PowerPoint would make such an impact? There is nothing I can't do with iSpring Suite that others claim is unique to their authoring products, and some things that I can do even better.
  • Leveraging PowerPoint as the canvas
  • Publish options for LMS out put and videos
  • Maintains all PowerPoint features and animations
  • We generate five to ten course development projects every year
  • We create intro videos for projects, making it easy to review deliveries
iSpring Suite is easier to use, as robust, but in a format that makes it easy to share with customers.
Great software is only exceeded by their fantastic support. Prompt responses, complete with clearly outlined steps to follow, are just the beginning. There are tremendous resources and continual webinars to challenge what we think we know about the iSpring Suite. I often use PowerPoint to lay out marketing slides, add music and narration, then publish them as an MP4 video. I can count on iSpring support to assist me when I need help.
We did not purchase premium support as very technical users. However, we do utilize their knowledge base and get complete support when a support ticket is generated.

Completely satisfied.
Yes. Kasey provided support that required me to uninstall and reinstall the latest build. Every step was laid out in an email with support links that offered additional explanations. The email and follow-up was superb.

I am not aware of colleagues of mine already working with iSpring software. I was looking for software to support online teaching of technical academic courses. It had to provide an easy, intuitive workflow for incorporating multimedia material, including video, adding narrations and being able to export/publish it in a manageable and versatile format running on many platforms.
  • Simple but powerful enough add-on to PowerPoint, which is the de facto standard for presentations.
  • Narrations can be simply added and edited.
  • Output to multi-platform compatible format is simple, yet very robust.
  • Incorporation of quizzes adds a nice part of interactivity.
  • A fantastic support service! Very alert and to the point. You never feel "lost."
  • I would like it to be operational on Cloud-synced drives. The current bookkeeping of the additional folders and files, tends to get corrupted (losing narrations and quizzes) through simple processes or syncing issues. Once you know what you cannot do, it works very nicely.
  • I am still looking for a good presentation tool that allows me to have the end-viewer run (Python) code interactively, but that is a very peculiar request, I admit.
  • Maybe there is still some more room for educational discounts, especially in providing even better group discounts.
If you don't mess up with the folder structures, you can quickly upgrade PowerPoint presentations that are fit for offline viewing, including a sufficient number of interactions and running platform-independently.
  • It made my teaching process more inline with current practices supporting e-learning tools.
  • It allows students to study material when they want and how fast they want, including active parts such as quizzes.
Very fast reply on support issues. Ad rem responses.
Not to lose time figuring out how some things work or don't work. Is worth the money, especially during the initial, learning stage.
No
Yes, today, when my presentation got messed up due to several actions from my part that I was not supposed to do. I have learned now!
