What is iSpring Suite?

iSpring Suite helps users build courses that are mobile-ready and adaptive. It’s integrated with PowerPoint, so users can create the content in the familiar PPT interface without spending time on specific training. The toolkit supports the creation of professional courses, video lectures, role-play simulations, and a range of assessments that display and work on any device.

I was struggling with how to resolve some branching issues, and I reached out to iSpring through their support. I was asked to share my project. They looked at it and within 1 hour, I had a solution!

I have NEVER felt this kind of support from a software or plugin!

Well suited for online training. I haven't tried using it in a classroom setting but it may work with that too. (having an entire group answer questions or a survey.

iSpring has helped us with a solution for our training needs. We are now able to create interactive training material that captures the interest of the audience as well as helps them to retain the material. I highly recommend iSpring for your training needs. It is very easy to use and the support is excellent if any issues do arise. I wish I would have found them sooner!!

The current courseware is best suited to single, stand alone short courses. Learning programs that require many courses may be confusing for the learner - menu gets confusing the larger the course, but this may be because of the setting I'm using.

Presentation is really in how creative the designer wants to be. PowerPoint 365 has tremendous abilities to allow for animation and motion. Coupled with iSpring, it is on steroids. Love the freedom to be creative, but not have to have a huge learning curve to get learning opportunities completed.

Similar to other eLearning design tools, iSpring is well-suited for motivated, self-paced learners that do not require much guidance and support in completing an eLearning course. iSpring may be less suitable for learners with lower digital literacy and learning content that will benefit from a more 'interactive' and 'in-person' delivery.

I have not found a scenario where iSpring cannot meet a need. I used Lectora for nearly 20 years and I thought I would never abandon it, but using iSpring for just a short amount of time sold me on it. iSpring has become my go to tool and the one I promote to customers.

iSpring Suite is excellent at developing interactive eLearning courses. It is easy to use and is convenient for internal SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) to share their knowledge through course creation. The text-to-speech option provides opportunities to design courses for a global audience in their language. Screen-casting allows a step-by-step walkthrough of technical documentation, like Work Instructions or Procedures. We can highlight specific points in those same documents using the interactions. Quizzes are also interactive and allow pictures, which provides a way to highlight site-specific situations and test for knowledge.

Even though we had not had experience creating eLearning, it was easy to do with iSpring Suite. We chose iSpring Suite because it allows to create interactive courses, it's much cheaper than hiring an external provider to create a course, it's easy to export text for translation and import back, and courses can be created in SCORM format which is necessary in order to add the course to our eLearning system. iSpring Suite have a convenient help page that explains how to use characters, create quizzes and interaction, add template slides, etc. What I expecially liked was their support team that was very helpful and always in touch.

If you have a big budget and/or do not have time to create eLearning internally, you might want to look for another solution.

This is one of the best authoring tools in the market. As a strong user of most of them, we ran across iSpring Suite years ago when the product was still evolving. Who would have thought that having these tools embedded inside PowerPoint would make such an impact? There is nothing I can't do with iSpring Suite that others claim is unique to their authoring products, and some things that I can do even better.

It is perfect for those who must develop very good eLearning products with fairly short development and refresh cycles. In this case, there just isn't time to spend extra days or weeks tweaking around with all the advanced power of Articulate 360 or Adobe Captivate. 70% or so of the work is in PowerPoint, so its quick to learn and quick to develop content. If you have longer development cycles with time to create more involved interactions, perhaps using Boolean logic and heavy customization, perhaps Articulate or Captivate might be a good choice. Even so, it might be worth giving iSpring a try - it is probably powerful enough for most use cases. I also found iSpring support to be FAR better than Captivate (this was admittedly a couple years ago) and perhaps a bit better than Articulate.

iSpring Suite has been great for creating software simulations. So much more user-friendly than Adobe Captivate! I've learned most of it just by using it and then reaching out to Support when I have questions and I've been really happy with their responsiveness and help. Probably the best software support I've received from any application.
